Sayed Ibrahim Al-Mujab (also known as al-Darir al-Kufi) was a prominent 9th-century historical figure, recognized as the first Alid (descendant of Imam Ali (as)) to permanently settle in Karbala. He was the son of Muhammad al-Abid and the grandson of the seventh Imam, Musa al-Kazim (as)
As-salāmu ʿalayka ayyuhā as-sayyidu az-zakiyyut ṭāhirul walī
Peace be upon you, O pure, immaculate master, the guardian,
Ad-dāʿil ḥafiyy
The modest caller,
Ashhadu annaka qulta ḥaqqan
I bear witness that you spoke the truth,
Wa nāṭaqta ṣidqan
And uttered sincerely,
Wa da‘awta ilā mawlāya wa mawlāka al-Ḥusayn ʿalayhi as-salām ʿalāniyatan wa sirran
And called openly and secretly to my master and your master, Al-Husayn, peace be upon him.
Fāza muttabiʿuka, wa najā muṣaddiquka
Your follower succeeded, and your verifier was saved,
Yā ibn sayyidī wa yā mawlāya wa ibn mawlāya
O son of my master and O my master and son of my master,
Wa khāba wa khasira mukadhdhibuka, wal-mutakhallifu ʿanka yā sayyid
Cursed and lost is your denier, and the one who lags behind you, O master.
Ashhad lī bihādhihi ash-shahādati ʿindaka
Bear witness for me with this testimony before you,
Li-akūna mina al-fā’izīna bimaʿrifatika wa ṭāʿatika
That I may be among the successful by knowing you and obeying you,
