Ziyarat of Habib Ibn Mazahir

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ

as-salaamu 'alayka ayyuhal-'abdus-saalih

Peace be upon you, O righteous servant,

الْمُطِيْعُ لِلّٰهِ وَ لِرَسُولِهِ

al-mutee'u lil-laahi wa li-rasoolih

obedient to Allah and His Messenger,

وَ لِاَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

wa li-ameeril-mu'mineen

and to the Commander of the Faithful,

وَ لِفَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ

wa li-faatimataz-zahraa'

and to Fatimah al-Zahra,

وَ الْحَسَنِ وَ الْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ

wal-hasani wal-husayni 'alayhimus-salaam

and to al-Hasan and al-Husayn, peace be upon them.

اَلْغَرِيبُ الْمُوَاسِي

al-ghareebul-muwaasee

O exiled one who offered solace and support!

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ جَاهَدْتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّٰهِ

ash-hadu annaka jaahadta fee sabeelil-laah

I bear witness that you strived in the way of Allah,

وَ نَصَرْتَ الْحُسَيْنَ ابْنَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ

wa nasartal-husaynab-na binti rasoolil-laah

and aided al-Husayn, the son of the daughter of the Messenger of Allah,

وَ وَاسَيْتَ بِنَفْسِكَ

wa waasayta bi-nafsik

and gave consoling sacrifice of your own self,

وَ بَذَلْتَ مُهْجَتَكَ

wa badhalta muhjatak

and offered your life's blood.

فَعَلَيْكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ السَّلَامُ التَّامُّ

fa-'alayka minal-laahis-salaamut-taamm

So upon you from Allah be complete peace.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الْقَمَرُ الزَّاهِرُ

as-salaamu 'alayka ayyuhal-qamaruz-zaahir

Peace be upon you, O luminous, shining moon!

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حَبِيبَ بْنَ مَظَاهِرَ الْأَسَدِيَّ

as-salaamu 'alayka yaa habeebab-na mazaahirinal-asadiyy

Peace be upon you, O Habib ibn Madhahir al-Asadi,

وَ رَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ

wa rahmatul-laahi wa barakaatuh

and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
