اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْاَلُكَ الْهُدٰى وَ التُّقٰى،
allaahumma innee as-alukal-hudaa wat-tuqaa
O God, I ask You for guidance and piety,
وَ الْعَفَافَ وَ الْغِنٰى،
wal-'afaafa wal-ghinaa
and I am hopeful for chastity and needlessness.
وَ الْعَمَلَ بِمَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضٰى،
wal-'amala bimaa tuhibbu wa tardaa
And I seek every that act, which is liked and approved by You
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْاَلُكَ مِنْ قُوَّتِكَ لِضَعْفِنَا،
allaahumma innee as-aluka min quwwatika li-da'finaa
O God, I ask You from your strength for our weakness
وَ مِنْ غِنَاكَ لِفَقْرِنَا وَ فَاقَتِنَا،
wa min ghinaaka li-faqrinaa wa faaqatinaa
and your needlessness for our poverty and hunger
وَ مِنْ حِلْمِكَ وَ عِلْمِكَ لِجَهْلِنَا
wa min hilmika wa 'ilmika li-jahlinaa
and your forbearance and knowledge for our ignorance.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،
allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadiw-wa aali muhammad
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad
وَ اَعِنَّا عَلٰى شُكْرِكَ وَ ذِكْرِكَ وَ طَاعَتِكَ وَ عِبَادَتِكَ،
wa a'innaa 'alaa shukrika wa dhikrik
and help us in your thankfulness and remembrance and obedience and worship
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.
wa taa'atika wa 'ibaadatik
O the most merciful of the merciful ones.
bi-rahmatika yaa arhamar-raahimeen
