Dua Hareeq of Sayeda Fatima (sa) after Fajr

أَللَّهُمَّ إِنّي أَصْبَحْتُ اُشْهِدُكَ وَكَفى بِكَ شَهِيداً

Allahumma inni asbahtu ushhiduka wa kafa bika shahida,

O Allah! I have dawned while I hold You witness and You are sufficient for me as a Witness,

وَاُشْهِدُ مَلائِكَتَكَ وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ

wa ushhidu mala'ikataka wa hamalata 'arshika,

and I hold as witnesses for me all the angels and the bearers of Your Throne

وَسُكَّانَ سَبْعِ سَماواتِكَ وَأَرَضيكَ

wa sukkana sab'i samawatika wa aradika,

and the dwellers of the Seven Heavens and Your Earths

وَأَنْبِياءَكَ وَرُسُلَكَ

wa ambiya'aka wa rusulaka,

and Your Prophets and Your Messengers

وَوَرَثَةَ أَنْبِياءِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ

wa warathata ambiya'ika wa rusulika,

and the Successors of Your Prophets and Messengers

وَالصَّالِحينَ مِنْ عِبادِكَ وَجَميعَ خَلْقِكَ

was-salihina min 'ibadika wa jami'a khalqika,

and the noblemen from Your servants and all the creation.

فَاشْهَدْ لي وَكَفى بِكَ شَهيداً

fash-had li wa kafa bika shahida,

Thus bear witness for me and suffice me as a Witness

أَنّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ لا إِلهَ إِلّا أَنْتَ

anni ash-hadu annaka antal-lahu la ilaha illa anta,

that I bear witness that verily You are Allah, there is no God except You,

الْمَعْبُودُ وَحْدَكَ لا شَريكَ لَكَ

al-ma'budu wahdaka la sharika lak,

You alone are worshipped, and You don’t have a partner,

وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

wa anna Muhammadan salla-llahu 'alayhi wa alih,

and that Mohammad (peace be upon him and his progeny)

عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ

'abduka wa rasuluk,

is Your Servant and Messenger,

وَأَنَّ كُلَّ مَعْبُودٍ مِمَّا دُونَ عَرْشِكَ إِلى قَرارِ أَرْضِكَ السَّابِعَةِ

wa anna kulla ma'budin mimma duna 'arshika ila qarari ardikas-sabi'ati

and that all those who are worshipped between Your Throne and the surface of Your seven Earths,

السُّفْلى باطِلٌ مُضْمَحِلٌّ ما خَلا وَجْهَكَ الْكَريمَ

as-sufla batilun mudmahillun ma khala wajhakal-karim,

are all invalid and void except for Your Self.

فَإِنَّهُ أَعَزُّ وَأَكْرَمُ وَأَجَلُّ وَأَعْظَمُ

fa'innahu a'azzu wa akramu wa ajallu wa a'zam,

Indeed He is much glorious, mightier, and greater

مِنْ أَنْ يَصِفَ الْواصِفُونَ كُنْهَ جَلالِهِ

min an yasifal-wasifuna kunha jalalih,

than what the describers describe as His True Glory

أَوْ تَهْتَدِيَ الْقُلُوبُ إِلى كُنْهِ عَظَمَتِهِ

aw tahtadiyal-qulubu ila kunhi 'azamatih,

or to which the hearts guide as His True Greatness

يا مَنْ فاقَ مَدْحَ الْمادِحينَ فَخْرُ مَدْحِهِ

ya man faqa madhal-madihina fakhru madhih,

O’ He whose Praise is much more valuable than the exaltation of the exalters,

وَعَدا وَصْفَ الْواصِفينَ مَآثِرُ حَمْدِهِ

wa 'ada wasfal-wasifina ma'athiru hamdih,

and His true appraisal has surpassed the description of the describers,

وَجَلَّ عَنْ مَقالَةِ النَّاطِقينَ تَعْظيمُ شَأْنِهِ

wa jalla 'an maqolatin-natiqina ta'zimu sha'nih,

and the Honour of His Magnificence is higher than the speech of the speakers,

صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

bless Mohammad and his holy progeny,

وَافْعَلْ بِنا ما أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ

waf'al bina ma anta ahluh.

and do with me what You are worthy of,

يا أَهْلَ التَّقْوى وَأَهْلَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ

Ya ahlat-taqwa wa ahlal-maghfirah

O’ He who is Worthy of Piety and Forgiveness.

لا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ

La ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la sharika lah,

There is no God but Allah alone, He has no Partner,

سُبْحانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

subhanal-lahi wa bihamdih,

Glorified is Allah and with His Praise,

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

astaghfirul-laha wa atubu ilayh,

I seek Forgiveness from Allah, and turn towards Him,

ما شاءَ اللهُ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلّا بِاللهِ

ma sha'al-lahu wa la quwwata illa billah,

hatever He wishes takes place, there is no Power except Allah,

هُوَ الْأَوَّلُ وَالْآخِرُ وَالظَّاهِرُ وَالْباطِنُ

huwal-awwalu wal-akhiru waz-zahiru wal-batin,

He is the First and the Apparent and the Hidden,

لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ

lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd,

the Kingdom belongs to Him alone and all Praises are due to Him,

يُحْيي وَيُميتُ وَيُميتُ وَيُحْيي

yuhyi wa yumitu wa yumitu wa yuhyi,

He gives life and death, and gives death and life,

وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لايَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ

wa huwa hayyun la yamutu biyadihil-khayr,

He is the Living who never dies, in His hands is all Good,

وَهُوَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ

wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.

and He has Power over all things.

سُبْحانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ للهِِ وَلا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ

Subhanal-lahi wal-hamdu lillahi wa la ilaha illal-lahu wal-lahu akbar,

“Glorious is Allah, and there is no God but Allah, and Allah is Great,

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

astaghfirul-laha wa atubu ilayh,

I seek forgiveness from Allah and return towards Him,

ما شاءَ اللهُ لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلّا بِاللهِ

ma sha'al-lahu la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah,

what Allah wishes happens, the is no movement and no power except by Allah,

الْحَليمِ الْكَريمِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظيمِ

al-halimil-karimil-'aliyyil-'azim,

the forbearing, the Generous, the Sublime, the Great,

الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحيمِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْحَقِّ الْمُبينِ

ar-rahmanir-rahimil-malikil-quddusil-haqqil-mubin,

the Beneficent, the Merciful, the Ruler, the Sanctified, the Truth, the Apparent,

عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ

'adada khalqihi wa zinata 'arshih,

this praise is as many as His creations and as much as the weight of His Throne

وَمِلْأَ سَماواتِهِ وَأَرَضيهِ

wa mil'a samawatihi wa aradih,

and the space of His Heavens and His Earths,

وَعَدَدَ ما جَرى بِهِ قَلَمُهُ وَأَحْصاهُ كِتابُهُ

wa 'adada ma jara bihi qalamuhu wa ahsahu kitabuh,

and as much as what has been written by His Pen, and What Has been embraced by His Book

وَمِدادُ كَلِماتِهِ وَرِضا نَفْسِهِ

wa midadu kalimatihi wa rida nafsih.

and as many as His words and as per His Satisfaction of Himself.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُبارَكينَ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ahli bayti Muhammadinil-mubarakin,

O’ Allah! Send Your blessings upon Mohammad and his holy household,

وَصَلِّ عَلى جَبْرَئيلَ وَميكائيلَ وَإِسْرافيلَ

wa salli 'ala Jibra'ila wa Mika'ila wa Israfil,

and bless Jibrael and Mika’eel and Israfeel,

وَحَمَلَةِ عَرْشِكَ أَجْمَعينَ وَالْمَلائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبينَ

wa hamalati 'arshika ajma'ina wal-mala'ikatil-muqarrabin.

and all the bearers of Your Throne, and Your Archangels.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى تُبَلِّغَهُمُ الرِّضا

Allahumma salli 'alayhim hatta tuballighahumur-rida,

O’ Allah, send Your blessings upon them until You deliver Your Satisfaction to them,

وَتَزيدَهُمْ بَعْدَ الرِّضا مِمَّا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ

wa tazidahum ba'dar-rida mimma anta ahluh,

and exceed them after Satisfaction with what You are Worthy of,

يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ

ya arhamar-rahimin.

O’ the Most Merciful of all the Merciful.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his holy Progeny,

وَصَلِّ عَلى مَلَكِ الْمَوْتِ وَأَعْوانِهِ

wa salli 'ala Malakil-mawti wa a'wanih,

and send your blessings upon the Angel of Death and his helpers,

وَصَلِّ عَلى رِضْوانَ وَخَزَنَةِ الْجِنانِ

wa salli 'ala Ridwana wa khazanatil-jinan,

and bless Ridwaan and the treasurers of Your Heavens.

وَصَلِّ عَلى مالِكٍ وَخَزَنَةِ النّيرانِ

wa salli 'ala Malikin wa khazanatin-niran.

And bless Malik and the treasurers of Hell.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى تُبَلِّغَهُمُ الرِّضا

Allahumma salli 'alayhim hatta tuballighahumur-rida,

O’ Allah! Bless them until You deliver Your Pleasure to them,

وَتَزيدَهُمْ بَعْدَ الرِّضا مِمَّا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ

wa tazidahum ba'dar-rida mimma anta ahluh,

and exceed them after Your Satisfaction with what You are worthy of,

يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ

ya arhamar-rahimin.

O’ the Most Merciful of all the Merciful.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى الْكِرامِ الْكاتِبينَ

Allahumma salli 'alal-kiramil-katibin,

O’ Allah! Bless the Noble Angels who are writers,

وَالسَّفَرَةِ الْكِرامِ الْبَرَرَةِ

was-safaratil-kiramil-bararah,

and the honourable ambassadors,

وَالْحَفَظَةِ لِبَني آدَمَ

wal-hafadati li-bani Adam,

and the protectors of Bani Adam,

وَصَلِّ عَلى مَلائِكَةِ الْهَواءِ وَالسَّماواتِ الْعُلى

wa salli 'ala mala'ikatil-hawa'i was-samawatil-'ula,

and bless the Angel of wind and the Highly Heavens,

وَمَلائِكَةِ الْأَرَضينَ السُّفْلى

wa mala'ikatil-aradina-sufla,

and the angels of the lowly Earths,

وَمَلائِكَةِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهارِ

wa mala'ikatil-layli wan-nahar,

and the Angels of the night and day,

وَالْأَرْضِ وَالْأَقْطارِ

wal-ardi wal-aqtar,

and the Earth and the shores,

وَالْبِحارِ وَالْأَنْهارِ

wal-bihari wal-anhar,

and the oceans and rivers,

وَالْبَراري وَالْفَلَواتِ وَالْقِفارِ

wal-barari wal-falawati wal-qifar.

and the barren deserts and plains,

وَصَلِّ عَلى مَلائِكَتِكَ الَّذينَ أَغْنَيْتَهُمْ

Wa salli 'ala mala'ikatikal-ladhina aghnaytahum

and bless Your Angels whom You have made needless

عَنِ الطَّعامِ وَالشَّرابِ بِتَسْبيحِكَ

'anit-ta'ami wash-sharabi bi-tasbihika

of food and drink by means of Your glorification

وَتَقْديسِكَ وَعِبادَتِكَ

wa taqdisika wa 'ibadatik.

and exaltation and worship.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى تُبَلِّغَهُمُ الرِّضا

Allahumma salli 'alayhim hatta tuballighahumur-rida,

O’ Allah, bless them until You deliver Your Satisfaction to them,

وَتَزيدَهُمْ بَعْدَ الرِّضا مِمَّا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ

wa tazidahum ba'dar-rida mimma anta ahluh,

and exceed them after Your Satisfaction with what You are Worthy of,

يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ

ya arhamar-rahimin.

O’ the Most Merciful of all Merciful.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah, bless Mohammad and his holy Progeny,

وَصَلِّ عَلى أَبينا آدَمَ وَاُمِّنا حَوَّاءَ

wa salli 'ala abina Adama wa ummina Hawwa',

and bless Our Father Adam, and our Mother Hawwa,

وَما وَلَدا مِنَ النَّبيّينَ وَالصِّدّيقينَ

wa ma walada minan-nabiyyina was-siddiqin,

and their sons amongst the Prophets and the truthful

وَالشُّهَداءِ وَالصَّالِحينَ

wash-shuhada'i was-salihin.

and the witnesses and the noblemen.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى تُبَلِّغَهُمُ الرِّضا

Allahumma salli 'alayhim hatta tuballighahumur-rida,

O’ Allah, bless them until You deliver Your Satisfaction to them,

وَتَزيدَهُمْ بَعْدَ الرِّضا مِمَّا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ

wa tazidahum ba'dar-rida mimma anta ahluh,

and exceed them after Your Satisfaction with what You are Worthy of,

يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ

ya arhamar-rahimin.

O’ the Most Merciful of all Merciful.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّيِّبينَ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ahli baytihit-tayyibin,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his holy household,

وَعَلى أَصْحابِهِ الْمُنْتَجَبينَ

wa 'ala ashabihil-muntajabin,

and his chosen companions,

وَعَلى أَزْواجِهِ الْمُطَهَّراتِ وَعَلى ذُرِّيَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ

wa 'ala azwajihil-mutahharati wa 'ala dhurriyyati Muhammad,

and his purified wives, and the Progeny of Mohammad,

وَعَلى كُلِّ نَبِيٍّ بَشَّرَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ

wa 'ala kulli nabiyyin bash-shara bi-Muhammad,

and bless all those Prophets who gave the glad tidings of Mohammad,

وَعَلى كُلِّ نَبِيٍّ وَلَدَ مُحَمَّداً

wa 'ala kulli nabiyyin walada Muhammada,

moh

وَعَلى كُلِّ مَنْ في صَلَواتِكَ عَلَيْهِ رِضىً لَكَ

wa 'ala kulli man fi salawatika 'alayhi ridan lak,

and bless all those blessing whom will result in Your Pleasure

وَرِضىً لِنَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

wa ridan li-nabiyyika Muhammadin salla-llahu 'alayhi wa alih.

and the Pleasure of Your Prophet, Mohammad (peace be upon him and his Progeny).

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى تُبَلِّغَهُمُ الرِّضا

Allahumma salli 'alayhim hatta tuballighahumur-rida,

O’ Allah, bless them until You deliver Your Satisfaction to them,

وَتَزيدَهُمْ بَعْدَ الرِّضا مِمَّا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ

wa tazidahum ba'dar-rida mimma anta ahluh,

and exceed them after Your Satisfaction with what You are Worthy of,

يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ

ya arhamar-rahimin.

O’ the Most Merciful of all Merciful.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

Bless Mohammad and his household,

وَبارِكْ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

wa barik 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

and shower Your grace upon Mohammad and his household,

وَارْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

warham Muhammadan wa ala Muhammad,

and have mercy upon Mohammad and his household,

كَأَفْضَلِ ما صَلَّيْتَ وَبارَكْتَ وَتَرَحَّمْتَ

ka-afdali ma sallayta wa barakta wa tarahhamta

with the best of the blessings, graces and mercies You have sent

عَلى إِبْراهيمَ وَآلِ إِبْراهيمَ إِنَّكَ حَميدٌ مَجيدٌ

'ala Ibrahima wa ali Ibrahima innaka Hamidun Majid.

upon Ibrahim and Ibrahim’s Progeny, indeed You are the Praised and the Mighty.

أَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ الْوَسيلَةَ وَالْفَضْلَ

Allahumma a'ti Muhammadan salla-llahu 'alayhi wa alihil-wasilata wal-fadl,

O’ Allah! Bestow Mohammad and his Progeny with the means and the Grace,

وَالْفَضيلَةَ وَالدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفيعَةَ

wal-fadilah wad-darajatar-rafi'ah,

and the Virtue and the Mighty Status,

وَأَعْطِهِ حَتَّى يَرْضى

wa a'tihi hatta yarda,

and bestow on them until they are satisfied,

وَزِدْهُ بَعْدَ الرِّضا مِمَّا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ

wa zid-hu ba'dar-rida mimma anta ahluh,

and exceed after satisfaction with what You are Worthy of,

يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ

ya arhamar-rahimin.

O’ the Most Merciful of all Merciful.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah, send blessings upon Mohammad and his household

كَما أَمَرْتَنا أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ

kama amartana an nusalliya 'alayh.

just as You have commanded us to send blessings upon him.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his household

كَما يَنْبَغي لَنا أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ

kama yambaghi lana an nusalliya 'alayh.

just like it is appropriate for us to send blessings upon them.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his household

بِعَدَدِ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ

bi-'adadi man salla 'alayh.

in the quantity of those who have sent blessings upon him.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his household

بِعَدَدِ مَنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ

bi-'adadi man lam yusalli 'alayh.

in the quantity of those who haven’t sent blessings upon him.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his household

بِعَدَدِ كُلِّ حَرْفٍ في صَلوةٍ صُلِّيَتْ عَلَيْهِ

bi-'adadi kulli harfin fi salatin sulliyat 'alayh.

as much as every letter in the blessings that have been sent upon them.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his household

بِعَدَدِ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ

bi-'adadi man salla 'alayhi wa man lam yusalli 'alayh.

as much as those who have sent blessing upon them and those who haven’t sent blessings upon them.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his household

بِعَدَدِ كُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ وَلَفْظَةٍ وَلَحْظَةٍ وَنَفَسٍ

bi-'adadi kulli sha'ratin wa lafzatin wa lahzatin wa nafas,

in the quantity of every hair and word and moment and breath

وَصِفَةٍ وَسُكُونٍ وَحَرَكَةٍ مِمَّنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ

wa sifatin wa sukunin wa harakatin mimman salla 'alayh,

and attribute and stoppage and movement of those who have sent blessings upon him,

وَمِمَّنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ

wa mimman lam yusalli 'alayh,

and of those who haven’t sent blessings upon him,

وَبِعَدَدِ ساعاتِهِمْ وَدَقائِقِهِمْ

wa bi-'adadi sa'atihim wa daqa'iqihim,

and in the quantity of their hours and their minutes,

وَسُكُونِهِمْ وَحَرَكاتِهِمْ

wa sukuniquehim wa harakatihim,

and their stoppages and their movements,

وَحَقائِقِهِمْ وَميقاتِهِمْ

wa haqa'iqihim wa miqatihim,

and their truths and their promised places,

وَصِفاتِهِمْ وَأَيَّامِهِمْ

wa sifatihim wa ayyamihim,

and their characters and their days,

وَشُهُورِهِمْ وَسِنيهِمْ

wa shuhurihim wa sinihim,

and their months and their years,

وَأَشْعارِهِمْ وَأَبْشارِهِمْ

wa ash'arihim wa absharihim,

and their hairs and their skins,

وَبِعَدَدِ زِنَةِ ذَرِّ ما عَمِلُوا أَوْ يَعْمَلُونَ

wa bi-'adadi zinati dharri ma 'amilu aw ya'malun,

and as much as the weight of the particles of their deeds they have performed, or they perform

أَوْ بَلَغَهُمْ أَوْ رَأَوْا أَوْ ظَنُّوا أَوْ فَطِنُوا

aw balaghahum aw ra'aw aw zannu aw fatinu,

or which has reached them, or which they have seen, or assumed, or became aware of with their cleverness,

أَوْ كانَ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ يَكُونُ إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ

aw kana minhum aw yakunu ila yawmil-qiyamah,

or which was enacted by them, or will be committed by them until the day of Resurrection,

وَكَأَضْعافِ ذلِكَ أَضْعافاً مُضاعَفَةً إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ

wa ka-ad'afi dhalika ad'afan muda'afatan ila yawmil-qiyamah,

rather several times more than the measurement of all the things that has been mentioned until the day of Resurrection,

يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ

ya arhamar-rahimin.

O’ the Most Merciful of all the Merciful.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his household

بِعَدَدِ ما خَلَقْتَ وَما أَنْتَ خالِقُهُ

bi-'adadi ma khalaqta wa ma anta khaliquh,

in the quantity of all that You have created, and all Your creations

إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ صَلوةً تُرْضيهِ

ila yawmil-qiyamati salatan turdih.

until the Day of Resurrection, a blessing that will please his holiness.

أَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَالثَّناءُ وَالشُّكْرُ

Allahumma lakal-hamdu wath-thana'u wash-shukr,

O’ Allah, all Praises, Glorification and Gratification is for You

وَالْمَنُّ وَالْفَضْلُ وَالطَّوْلُ وَالْخَيْرُ

wal-mannu wal-fadlu wat-tawlu wal-khayr,

and all the Favours and Grace, and beneficence and good

وَالْحُسْنى وَالنِّعْمَةُ وَالْعَظَمَةُ وَالْجَبَرُوتُ

wal-husna wan-ni'matu wal-'azamatu wal-jabarut,

and nobility and bounty, and greatness and Majesty,

وَالْمُلْكُ وَالْمَلَكُوتُ وَالْقَهْرُ وَالسُّلْطانُ

wal-mulku wal-malakutu wal-qahru was-sultan,

and the apparent Kingdom and the hidden Kingdom, and the Subjugation and the Dominion,

وَالْفَخْرُ وَالسُّؤْدَدُ وَالْإِمْتِنانُ وَالْكَرَمُ

wal-fakhru was-su'dadu wal-imtinanu wal-karam,

and the Pride and Lordship, and favour and Kindness,

وَالْجَلالُ وَالْإِكْرامُ وَالْجَمالُ وَالْكَمالُ

wal-jalalu wal-ikramu wal-jamalu wal-kamal,

and the Glory and Generosity, and the Beauty and Excellence,

وَالْخَيْرُ وَالتَّوْحيدُ وَالتَّمْجيدُ وَالتَّحْميدُ

wal-khayru wat-tawhidu wat-tamjidu wat-tahmid,

and the good, the Oneness, the Exaltation, the glorification,

وَالتَّهْليلُ وَالتَّكْبيرُ وَالتَّقْديسُ

wat-tahlilu wat-takbiru wat-taqdis,

the appraisal, the greatness, the sanctification,

وَالرَّحْمَةُ وَالْمَغْفِرَةُ وَالْكِبْرِياءُ وَالْعَظَمَةُ

war-rahmatu wal-maghfiratu wal-kibriya'u wal-'azamah.

the Beneficence and the Forgiveness and the Sublimity and the Virtue.

وَلَكَ ما زَكى وَطابَ وَطَهُرَ مِنَ الثَّناءِ الطَّيِّبِ

Wa laka ma zaka wa taba wa tahura minath-thana'it-tayyib,

And for You alone is the purest, cleanest and holiest of all the noble exaltation,

وَالْمَديحِ الْفاخِرِ وَالْقَوْلِ الْحَسَنِ الْجَميلِ

wal-madihil-fakhiri wal-qawlil-hasanil-jamil,

and valuable appraisal, and the good and beautiful saying

الَّذي تَرْضى بِهِ عَنْ قائِلِهِ

alladhi tarda bihi 'an qa'ilih,

whose speaker satisfies You

وَتُرْضِيَ بِهِ قائِلَهُ وَهُوَ رِضىً لَكَ

wa turdi bihi qa'ilahu wa huwa ridan lak,

and who is satisfied from You, which results in Your Pleasure.

يَتَّصِلُ حَمْدي بِحَمْدِ أَوَّلِ الْحامِدينَ

yattasilu hamdi bi-hamdi awwalil-hamidin,

My Praise is connected to the Praise of the First appraisers,

وَثَنائي بِثَناءِ أَوَّلِ الْمُثْنينَ عَلى رَبِّ الْعالَمينَ

wa thana'i bi-thana'i awwalil-muthnina 'ala rabbil-'alamin,

and my exaltation to the first exalters of the Lord of the worlds,

مُتَّصِلاً ذلِكَ بِذلِكَ

muttasillan dhalika bi-dhalik,

all of it connected to each other,

وَتَهْليلي بِتَهْليلِ أَوَّلِ الْمُهَلِّلينَ

wa tahlili bi-tahlili awwalil-muhallilin,

and my acclamation is connected to the first acclaimers,

وَتَكْبيري بِتَكْبيرِ أَوَّلِ الْمُكَبِّرينَ

wa takbiri bi-takbiri awwalil-mukabbirin,

and my magnification is connected with the first magnifiers,

وَقَوْلِيَ الْحَسَنُ الْجَميلُ بِقَوْلِ أَوَّلِ الْقائِلينَ

wa qawliyal-hasanul-jamilu bi-qawli awwalil-qa'ilin,

and my beautiful saying with the first exquisite speakers,

الْمُجْمِلينَ الْمُثْنينَ عَلى رَبِّ الْعالَمينَ

al-mujmilinal-muthnina 'ala rabbil-'alamin,

the exalters of the Lord of the worlds,

مُتَّصِلاً ذلِكَ بِذلِكَ

muttasillan dhalika bi-dhalik,

each one of which is connected with one another,

مِنْ أَوَّلِ الدَّهْرِ إِلى آخِرِهِ

min awwalid-dahri ila akhirih,

from the beginning of time till the end.

وَبِعَدَدِ زِنَةِ ذَرِّ السَّماواتِ وَالْأَرَضينَ

wa bi-'adadi zinati dharris-samawati wal-aradin,

And as much as the weight of the particles of the heavens and the Earths,

وَالرِّمالِ وَالتِّلالِ وَالْجِبالِ

war-rimali wat-tilali wal-jibal,

the pebbles and the plateaus and the mountains,

وَعَدَدِ جُرَعِ ماءِ الْبِحارِ

wa 'adadi jura'i ma'il-bihar,

and many as the gulps of seawater,

وَعَدَدِ قَطْرِ الْأَمْطارِ

wa 'adadi qatril-amtar,

and as many as the raindrops,

وَوَرَقِ الْأَشْجارِ وَعَدَدِ النُّجُومِ

wa waraqil-ashjari wa 'adadin-nujum,

and as many as the leaves of trees, and as many as the stars,

وَعَدَدِ الثَّرى وَالْحَصى وَالنَّوى وَالْمَدَرِ

wa 'adadith-thara wal-hasa wan-nawa wal-madar,

and as many as the dust particles and the pebbles and the grains and the atoms,

وَعَدَدِ زِنَةِ ذلِكَ كُلِّهِ

wa 'adadi zinati dhalika kullih,

and as much as the weight of all of them,

وَعَدَدِ زِنَةِ ذَرِّ السَّماواتِ وَالْأَرَضينَ

wa 'adadi zinati dharris-samawati wal-aradin,

and the weight of the particles of the heavens and the earths,

وَما فيهِنَّ وَما بَيْنَهُنَّ وَما تَحْتَهُنَّ

wa ma fihinna wa ma baynahunna wa ma tahtahunna,

and that which lies in them and between them and below them,

وَما بَيْنَ ذلِكَ وَما فَوْقَهُنَّ إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ

wa ma bayna dhalika wa ma fawqahunna ila yawmil-qiyamah,

and between them and above them till the Day of Resurrection,

مِنْ لَدُنِ الْعَرْشِ إِلى قَرارِ أَرْضِكَ السَّابِعَةِ السُّفْلى

min ladunil-'arshi ila qarari ardikas-sabi'atis-sufla,

from the Divine Throne to Your lowly seven earths,

وَبِعَدَدِ حُرُوفِ أَلْفاظِ أَهْلِهِنِّ

wa bi-'adadi hurufi alfazi ahlihinn,

and as many as the letters of the words of their dwellers,

وَعَدَدِ أَزْمانِهِمْ وَدَقائِقِهِمْ

wa 'adadi azmanihim wa daqa'iqihim,

and as many as their times and their minutes

وَشَعائِرِهِمْ وَساعاتِهِمْ

wa sha'a'irihim wa sa'atihim,

and their signs and their hours

وَأَيَّامِهِمْ وَشُهُورِهِمْ وَسِنيهِمْ

wa ayyamihim wa shuhurihim wa sinihim,

and their days, and their months and their years,

وَسُكُونِهِمْ وَحَرَكاتِهِمْ

wa sukuniquehim wa harakatihim,

and their stoppages and their movements,

وَأَشْعارِهِمْ وَأَبْشارِهِمْ

wa ash'arihim wa absharihim,

and their hairs and skins.

وَعَدَدِ زِنَةِ ذَرِّ ما عَمِلُوا أَوْ يَعْمَلُونَ

wa 'adadi zinati dharri ma 'amilu aw ya'malun,

And as much as the weight of the particles of the deeds they have performed or are performing

أَوْ بَلَغَهُمْ أَوْ رَأَوْا أَوْ ظَنُّوا أَو فَطِنُوا

aw balaghahum aw ra'aw aw zannu aw fatinu,

or which had reached them, or which they have witnessed or assumed or gained awareness with cleverness,

أَوْ كانَ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ يَكُونُ إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ

aw kana minhum aw yakunu ila yawmil-qiyamah,

or was performed by them or will be performed till the Day of Resurrection,

وَعَدَدِ زِنَةِ ذَرِّ ذلِكَ وَأَضْعافِ ذلِكَ

wa 'adadi zinati dharri dhalika wa ad'afi dhalik,

and as much as the weight of all of them and many more times their weight,

وَكَأَضْعافِ ذلِكَ أَضْعافاً مُضاعَفَةً لايَعْلَمُها

wa ka-ad'afi dhalika ad'afan muda'afatan la ya'lamuha,

and several times all of them such that none except You

وَلايُحْصيها غَيْرُكَ يا ذَا الْجَلالِ وَالْإِكْرامِ

wa la yuhsiha ghayruka ya dhal-jalali wal-ikram,

shall be able to have knowledge of it and calculate it, O’ Glorious and Dignified,

وَأَهْلُ ذلِكَ أَنْتَ وَمُسْتَحِقُّهُ

wa ahlu dhalika anta wa mustahiqquh,

You are worthy of it, and deserve it

وَمُسْتَوْجِبُهُ مِنّي وَمِنْ جَميعِ خَلْقِكَ

wa mustawjibuhu minni wa min jami'i khalqik,

and it is appropriate for Your Threshold, these praises are only for You, from me and all Your creations,

يا بَديعَ السَّمواتِ وَالْأَرْضِ

ya Badi'as-samawati wal-ard.

O’ Creator of the Heavens and the Earth.

أَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ لَسْتَ بِرَبٍّ اسْتَحْدَثْناكَ

Allahumma innaka lasta bi-rabbin istahdathnak,

O’ Allah! You are not the Lord whom we have called recently,

وَلا مَعَكَ إِلهٌ فَيَشْرَكَكَ في رُبُوبِيَّتِكَ

wa la ma'aka ilahun fa-yashrakaka fi rububiyaytik,

and there is no God alongside You who will share Your Divinity,

وَلا مَعَكَ إِلهٌ أَعانَكَ عَلى خَلْقِنا

wa la ma'aka ilahun a'anaka 'ala khalqina,

and there is no God alongside You who has helped You in our creation,

أَنْتَ رَبُّنا كَما تَقُولُ وَفَوْقَ ما يَقُولُ الْقائِلُونَ

anta rabbuna kama taqulu wa fawqa ma yaqulul-qa'ilun.

You are our Lord just as You say and are Superior to all that the speakers say.

أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

As'aluka an tusalliya 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

I beseech You to bless Mohammad and his holy household,

وَأَنْ تُعْطِيَ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

wa an tu'tiya Muhammadan salla-llahu 'alayhi wa alih,

and to bestow Mohammad and his progeny

أَفْضَلَ ما سَأَلَكَ وَأَفْضَلَ ما سُئِلْتَ

afdala ma sa'alaka wa afdala ma su'ilt,

with the best of what is asked from You, and the best of that which be asked from You

وَأَفْضَلَ ما أَنْتَ مَسْؤُولٌ لَهُ إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ

wa afdala ma anta mas'ulun lahu ila yawmil-qiyamah.

and the best of what you are responsible for till the Day of Resurrection.

اُعيذُ أَهْلَ بَيْتِ النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

U'idhu ahla baytin-nabiyyi Muhammadin salla-llahu 'alayhi wa alih,

I submit Prophet Mohammad’s household (peace be upon him and his progeny)

وَنَفْسي وَديني وَذُرِّيَّتي وَمالي

wa nafsi wa dini wa dhurriyyati wa mali,

and myself and my religion and my lineage and my wealth

وَوَلَدي وَأَهْلي وَقَراباتي وَأَهْلَ بَيْتي

wa waladi wa ahli wa qarabati wa ahla bayti,

and my son and my family and my relatives and my household

وَكُلَّ ذي رَحِمٍ لي دَخَلَ فِي الْإِسْلامِ

wa kulla dhi rahimin li dakhala fil-Islam,

and all those relatives who have entered Islam,

أَوْ يَدْخُلُ إِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ

aw yadkhulu ila yawmil-qiyamah,

or will enter it till the Day of Resurrection,

وَحُزانَتي وَخاصَّتي

wa huzanati wa khassati,

and my family members and my dear ones,

وَمَنْ قَلَّدَني دُعاءً أَوْ أَسْدى إِلَيَّ يَداً

wa man qalladani du'a'an aw asda ilayya yada,

and all those who have made me responsible for supplicating for them and have treated me with good behaviour,

أَوْ رَدَّ عَنّي غَيْبَةً أَوْ قالَ فِيَّ خَيْراً

aw radda 'anni ghybatan aw qala fiyya khayra,

or have refrained from backbiting me, or have said anything good about me,

أَوِ اتَّخَذْتُ عِنْدَهُ يَداً أَوْ صَنيعَةً

awi-ttakhadhtu 'indahu yadan aw sani'ah,

or the ones from whom I have sought help or a work,

وَجيراني وَ إِخْواني مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنينَ وَالْمُؤْمِناتِ

wa jirani wa ikhwani minal-mu'minina wal-mu'minat,

and my neighbours and my brothers from the faithful men and women,

بِاللهِ وَبِأَسْمائِهِ التَّامَّةِ الْعامَّةِ الشَّامِلَةِ الْكامِلَةِ الطَّاهِرَةِ الْفاضِلَةِ الْمُبارَكَةِ الْمُتَعالِيَةِ الزَّاكِيَةِ الشَّريفَةِ الْمَنيعَةِ الْكَريمَةِالْعَظيمَةِ الْمَخْزُونَةِ الْمَكْنُونَةِ

billahi wa bi-asma'ihit-tammati al-'ammati ash-shamilati al-kamilati at-tahirati al-fadilah al-mubarakati al-muta'aliyati az-zakiyati ash-sharifati al-mani'ati al-karimati al-'azimati al-makhzunati al-maknunah,

with the help of Allah and His complete, general, overcoming, absolute, pure, gracious, holy, lofty, clean and pure, noble, preventing, kind, great, hidden and treasured Names.

الَّتي لايُجاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلا فاجِرٌ

al-lati la yujawizuhunna barrun wa la fajir,

which cannot be surpassed by the noble and the wicked,

وَبِاُمِّ الْكِتابِ وَخاتِمَتِهِ

wa bi-ummil-kitabi wa khatimatih,

and by the Ummul Kitaab (Suratul Hamd) and it’s concluder,

وَما بَيْنَهُما مِنْ سُورَةٍ شَريفَةٍ وَآيَةٍ مُحْكَمَةٍ وَشِفاءٍ وَرَحْمَةٍ وَعَوْذَةٍ وَبَرَكَةٍ

wa ma baynahuma min suratin sharifatin wa ayatin muhkamatin wa shifa'in wa rahmatin wa 'awdhatin wa barakah,

and all those holy chapters, evident verses, cure and mercy, refuge and grace, which lie between the two;

وَبِالتَّوْريةِ وَالْإِنْجيلِ وَالزَّبُورِ وَالْفُرْقانِ

wa bit-tawrati wal-injili waz-zaburi wal-furqan,

and by the Torah and the Gospel and the Pslams and the Furqaan

وَصُحُفِ إِبْراهيمَ وَمُوسى

wa suhufi Ibrahima wa Musa,

and the Books of Ibrahim and Moses,

وَبِكُلِّ كِتابٍ أَنْزَلَهُ اللهُ

wa bi-kulli kitabin anzalahul-lah,

and through all the books sent down by Allah,

وَبِكُلِّ رَسُولٍ أَرْسَلَهُ اللهُ

wa bi-kulli rasulin arsalahul-lah,

and through all the Messenger sent by Allah,

وَبِكُلِّ حُجَّةٍ أَقامَهَا اللهُ

wa bi-kulli hujjatin aqamahul-lah,

and through all the Argument made by Allah,

وَبِكُلِّ بُرْهانٍ أَظْهَرَهُ اللهُ

wa bi-kulli burhanin azharahul-lah,

and through all the Proofs made evident by Allah,

وَبِكُلِّ نُورٍ أَنارَهُ اللهُ

wa bi-kulli nurin anarahul-lah,

and through all the Light illuminated by Allah,

وَبِكُلِّ آلاءِ اللهِ وَعَظَمَتِهِ

wa bi-kulli ala'il-lahi wa 'azamatih.

and through all the bounties of Allah and His Virtue.

اُعيذُ وَأَسْتَعيذُ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي شَرٍّ

U'idhu wa asta'idhu min sharri kulli dhi sharr,

I seek refuge from the evil of all the evil people,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ ما أَخافُ وَأَحْذَرُ

wa min sharri ma akhafu wa ahdhar,

and from the evil of what I fear and distance from,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ ما رَبّي مِنْهُ أَكْبَرُ

wa min sharri ma rabbi minhu akbar,

and from the evil of all that my Lord is greater than it,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَالْعَجَمِ

wa min sharri fasaqatil-'arabi wal-'ajam,

and from the evil of the sinners of the Arabs and the non-Arabs,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ

wa min sharri fasaqatil-jinni wal-ins,

and from the evil of the sinners from the Jinn and the Humans

وَالشَّياطينِ وَالسَّلاطينِ

wash-shayatini was-salatin,

and the Satans and the Kings,

وَإِبْليسَ وَجُنُودِهِ وَأَشْياعِهِ وَأَتْباعِهِ

wa Iblisa wa junudihi wa ashya'ihi wa atba'ih,

and the Iblees and his army and his friends and followers,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ ما فِي النُّورِ وَالظُّلْمَةِ

wa min sharri ma fin-nuri waz-zulmah,

and from the evil of that which lies in the Light and the darkness,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ ما دَهَمَ أَوْ هَجَمَ أَوْ أَلَمَّ

wa min sharri ma dahama aw hajama aw alamm,

and from the evil of those happenings which attack and sadden the humans,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ غَمٍّ وَهَمٍّ

wa min sharri kulli ghammin wa hamm,

and from the evil of all the sorrows and sadness

وَآفَةٍ وَنَدَمٍ وَنازِلَةٍ وَسَقَمٍ

wa afatin wa nadamin wa nazilatin wa saqam,

and regrets and difficulties and diseases,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ ما يَحْدُثُ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهارِ

wa min sharri ma yahduthu fil-layli wan-nahar,

and from the evil of that which occurs in the night and the day,

وَتَأْتي بِهِ الْأَقْدارُ

wa ta'ti bihil-aqdar,

and that which is destined,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِي النَّارِ

wa min sharri fin-nar,

and from the evil of that which lies in fire,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ ما فِي الْأَرَضينَ وَالْأَقْطارِ

wa min sharri ma fil-aradina wal-aqtar,

and from the evil of that which lies in the Earths and the shores

وَالْفَلَواتِ وَالْقِفارِ وَالْبِحارِ وَالْأَنْهارِ

wal-falawati wal-qifari wal-bihari wal-anhar,

and the deserts and the barren lands and seas and rivers,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْفُسَّاقِ وَالْفُجَّارِ وَالْكُهَّانِ

wa min sharril-fussaqi wal-fujjari wal-kuhhan,

and from the evil of the lewd and the wrongdoers and the foretellers

وَالسُّحَّارِ وَالْحُسَّادِ وَالذُّعَّارِ وَالْأَشْرارِ

was-suhhari wal-hussadi wadh-dhu''ari wal-ashrar,

and the sorcerers and the jealous people and the spreaders of fear and the evildoers,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ ما يَلِجُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَما يَخْرُجُ مِنْها

wa min sharri ma yaliju fil-ardi wa ma yakhruju minha,

and from the evil of all that goes inside the earth and which comes out of it,

وَما يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّماءِ وَما يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْها

wa ma yanzilu minas-sama'i wa ma ya'ruju ilayha,

and which falls from the sky and which rises towards it,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذي شَرٍّ

wa min sharri kulli dhi sharr,

and from the evil of all the evildoers,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دابَّةٍ رَبّي آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتِها

wa min sharri kulli dabbatin rabbi akhidhun bi-nasiyatiha,

and from the evil of all the movers who will be caught by my Lord,

إِنَّ رَبّي عَلى صِراطٍ مُسْتَقيمٍ

inna rabbi 'ala siratin mustaqim.

indeed my Lord is on the straight Path,

فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللهُ

Fa-in tawallaw faqul hasbiyal-lah,

then if they turn away from it, say that Allah suffices me,

لا إِلهَ إِلّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ

la ilaha illa huwa 'alayhi tawakkalt,

there is no God but He, I rely upon Him

وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظيمِ

wa huwa rabbul-'arshil-'azim.

and He is the Lord of the Vast Throne.

وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ اللَّهُمَّ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْغَمِّ

Wa a'udhu bika-llahumma minal-hammi wal-ghamm,

And I seek shelter in You, O’ Allah, from the sorrow and grief

وَالْحُزْنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ

wal-huzni wal-'ajzi wal-kasali wal-jubni wal-bukhl,

and sadness, and from incapability and weariness, from fear and stinginess,

وَمِنْ ضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجالِ

wa min dala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal,

and from the difficulties of loans and dominance of men,

وَمِنْ عَمَلٍ لايَنْفَعُ

wa min 'amalin la yanfa',

and from the deed which does not benefit,

وَمِنْ عَيْنٍ لاتَدْمَعُ

wa min 'aynin la tadma',

and from the eye which does not weep,

وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لايَخْشَعُ

wa min qalbin la yakhsha',

and from the heart which is not humble,

وَمِنْ دُعاءٍ لايُسْمَعُ

wa min du'a'in la yusma',

and from the supplication which is not heard,

وَمِنْ نَصيحَةٍ لاتَنْجَعُ

wa min nasihatin la tanja',

and from the advice which is not effective,

وَمِنْ صَحابَةٍ لاتَرْدَعُ

wa min sahabatin la tarda',

and from the companions who wouldn’t be returned,

وَمِنْ إِجْماعٍ عَلى نُكْرٍ وَتَوَدُّدٍ عَلى خُسْرٍ

wa min ijma'in 'ala nukrin wa tawaddudin 'ala khusr,

and from the consensus on wickedness and undesirability, and from the friendship of loss,

أَوْ تَؤاخُذٍ عَلى خُبْثٍ

aw tawakhudhin 'ala khubth,

and from impure justice,

وَمِمَّا اسْتَعاذَ مِنْهُ مَلائِكَتُكَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ وَالْأَنْبِياءُ الْمُرْسَلُونَ وَالْأَئِمَّةُ الْمُطَهَّرُونَ وَالشُّهَداءُ وَالصَّالِحُونَ وَعِبادُكَ الْمُتَّقُونَ

wa mimmas-ta'adha minhu mala'ikatukal-muqarrabun,

and from all that Your dear Angels and the Prophets who are the Messenger, and the Purified Imams, and the Martyrs and the Noblemen, and Your Pious Servants seek shelter.

وَأَسْأَلُكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

wal-ambiya'ul-mursalun,

And I beseech You, O’ Allah, to bless Mohammad and his household,

وَأَنْ تُعْطِيَني مِنَ الْخَيْرِ ما سَأَلُوا

wal-a'immatul-mutahharun,

and to grant me from the good which they ask You,

وَأَنْ تُعيذَني مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعاذُوا

wash-shuhada'u was-salihun,

and to protect me from the evil of that which they seek protection from,

وَأَسْأَلُكَ اللَّهُمَّ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عاجِلِهِ وآجِلِهِ

wa 'ibadukal-muttaqun.

and I ask You, O’ Allah, from all the good with quickness and durability,

ما عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَما لَمْ أَعْلَمْ

Wa as'aluka-llahumma an tusalliya 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

from that which I know about and that which I don’t know,

وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ مِنْ هَمَزاتِ الشَّياطينِ

wa an tu'tiyani minal-khayri ma sa'alu,

and I seek refuge in You, O’ My Lord, from the satanic temptations,

وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ

wa an tu'idhani min sharri mas-ta'adhu,

and I seek shelter in You, O’ my Lord, from being presented by them.

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلى أَهْلِ بَيْتِ النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

wa as'aluka-llahumma minal-khayri kullihi 'ajilihi wa ajilih,

In seek help from the name of Allah for the household of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his progeny),

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلى نَفْسي وَديني

ma 'alimtu minhu wa ma lam a'lam.

I seek help from the name of Allah for myself and for my religion.

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلى أَهْلي وَمالي

Wa a'udhu bika rabbi min hamazatish-shayatin,

I seek help from the name of Allah for my family and my wealth,

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ أَعْطاني رَبّي

wa a'udhu bika rabbi an yahdurun.

I seek help from the name of Allah for all that Allah has bestowed upon me,

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلى أَحِبَّتي وَوَلَدي وَقَراباتي

Bismillahi 'ala ahli baytin-nabiyyi Muhammadin salla-llahu 'alayhi wa alih,

I seek help from the name of Allah for my loved ones and my son and my relatives,

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلى جيراني وَ إِخْواني

Bismillahi 'ala nafsi wa dini,

I seek help from the name of Allah for my neighbours and my brothers,

وَمَنْ قَلَّدَني دُعاءً أَوِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدي يَداً

Bismillahi 'ala ahli wa mali,

and for those who obligated me to supplicate for them, and for those from whom I took help,

أَوِ ابْتَدَءَ إِلَيَّ بِرّاً مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنينَ وَالْمُؤْمِناتِ

Bismillahi 'ala kulli shay'in a'tani rabbi,

or those who began to do unprecedented good for me, from the male and female believers,

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلى ما رَزَقَني رَبّي وَيَرْزُقُني

Bismillahi 'ala ahibbati wa waladi wa qarabati,

I seek help from the name of Allah for that which my Lord has bestowed upon me and bestows upon me,

بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذي لايَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْ‏ءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلا فِي السَّماءِ

Bismillahi 'ala jirani wa ikhwani,

I seek help from the name of Allah with which nothing can harm me on Earth and nor in the Sky,

وَهُوَ السَّميعُ الْعَليمُ

wa man qalladani du'a'an awit-takhadha 'indi yada,

and He is the Hearer and the Knower.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

awibtada'a ilayya birran minal-mu'minina wal-mu'minat,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his household

وَصِلْني بِجَميعِ ما سَأَلَكَ عِبادُكَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

Bismillahi 'ala ma razaqani rabbi wa yarzuquni,

and favour upon me with all that is asked from You by Your faithful servants,

أَنْ تَصِلَهُمْ بِهِ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ

Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama',

so that you grant them with bounties,

وَاصْرِفْ عَنّي جَميعَ ما سَأَلَكَ عِبادُكَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

wa huwas-Sami'ul-'Alim.

and keep me away from all that You have been asked by Your faithful believers,

أَنْ تَصْرِفَهُ عَنْهُمْ مِنَ السُّوءِ وَالرَّدى

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

so that you keep them away from bad and lowness,

وَزِدْني مِنْ فَضْلِكَ ما أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ وَوَلِيُّهُ

wa silni bi-jami'i ma sa'alaka 'ibadukal-mu'minun,

and exceed upon me from Your Grace that which is appropriate for You and You Guardian,

يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ

an tasilahum bihi minal-khayr,

O’ the Most Merciful of all the Merciful.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّيِّبينَ

wasrif 'anni jami'a ma sa'alaka 'ibadukal-mu'minun,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his holy Progeny,

وَعَجِّلِ اللَّهُمَّ فَرَجَهُمْ وَفَرَجي وَفَرِّجْ عَنْ كُلِّ مَهْمُومٍ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنينَ وَالْمُؤْمِناتِ

an tasrifahu 'anhum minas-su'i war-rada,

and hasten, O’ Allah, in their relief and my relief from all the sadness faced by the believing men and women.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

wa zidni min fadlika ma anta ahluhu wa waliyyuh,

O’ Allah! Bless Mohammad and his household

وَارْزُقْني نَصْرَهُمْ وَأَشْهِدْني أَيَّامَهُمْ

ya arhamar-rahimin.

and provide them support, and make me witness their days,

وَاجْمَعْ بَيْني وَبَيْنَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيا وَالْآخِرَةِ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ahli baytihit-tayyibin,

and gather me with them in this world and the hereafter,

وَاجْعَلْ مِنْكَ عَلَيْهِمْ واقِيَةً حَتَّى لايُخْلَصَ إِلَيْهِمْ إِلّا بِسَبيلِ خَيْرٍ وَعَلَيَّ مَعَهُمْ

wa 'ajjili-llahumma farajahum wa faraji,

and place a protector from Your Threshold for them until nothing except goodness and nobility reaches them,

وَعَلى شيعَتِهِمْ وَمُحِبّيهِمْ وَعَلى أَوْلِيائِهِمْ

wa farrij 'an kulli mahmumin minal-mu'minina wal-mu'minat.

and also place such guardian for me and for their Shias and their devotees and their friends

وَعَلى جَميعِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ وَالْمُؤْمِناتِ

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

and for the faithful people, men and women,

فَإِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ قَديرٌ

warzuqni nasrahum wa ash-hidni ayyamahum,

indeed You have Power over all things.

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ وَمِنَ اللهِ وَ إِلَى اللهِ

wajma' bayni wa baynahum fid-dunya wal-akhirah,

I seek help from the name of Allah and by Allah and from Allah and towards Allah,

وَلا غالِبَ إِلّاَ اللهُ ، ما شاءَ اللهُ

waj'al minka 'alayhim waqiyatan hatta la yukhlasa ilayhim illa bi-sabili khayr,

and there is no dominator except Allah, what Allah wills surely happens,

لا قُوَّةَ إِلّا بِاللهِ حَسْبِيَ اللهُ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ

wa 'alayya ma'ahum,

there is no Power except by Allah, Allah is sufficient for me, I rely upon Allah,

وَاُفَوِّضُ أَمْري إِلَى اللهِ وَأَلْتَجِئُ إِلَى اللهِ

wa 'ala shi'atihim wa muhibbihim wa 'ala awliya'ihim,

and I have submitted my affairs to Allah, and I seek refuge in Allah,

وَبِاللهِ اُحاوِلُ وَاُصاوِلُ وَاُكاثِرُ

wa 'ala jami'il-mu'minina wal-mu'minat,

and by his help I seek Power and Dominance and Abundance

وَاُفاخِرُ وَأَعْتَزُّ وَأَعْتَصِمُ

fa-innaka 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.

and Pride and Dignity and Protection

عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ إِلَيْهِ مَتابُ

Bismillahi wa billahi wa minal-lahi wa ilal-lah,

I rely upon Allah and towards Him is my return,

لا إِلهَ إِلّاَ اللهُ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

wa la ghaliba illal-lah, masha'al-lah,

there is no God except Allah, the Ever-Living and Self-Subsistent,

عَدَدَ الثَّرى وَالنُّجُومِ وَالْمَلائِكَةِ الصُّفُوفِ

la quwwata illa billah, hasbiyal-lahu tawakkaltu 'alal-lah,

as many as the particles of dust and the stars,and the well-queued Angels,

لا إِلهَ إِلّاَ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظيمُ

wa ufawwidu amri ilal-lah, wa altaji'u ilal-lah,

there is no God except Allah, He is Alone, He has no partner, He is the Mighty and the Great,

لا إِلهَ إِلّاَ اللهُ سُبْحانَكَ إِنّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمينَ

wa billahi uhawilu wa usawilu wa ukathiru,

there is no God except Allah, You are Glorious, indeed I was among the transgressors.

wa ufakhiru wa a'tazzu wa a'tasim,

'alayhi tawakkaltu wa ilayhi matab.

La ilaha illal-lahul-hayyul-qayyum,

'adadath-thara wan-nujumi wal-mala'ikatis-sufuf,

La ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la sharika lahul-'aliyyul-'azim,

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin.

أَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النُّورِ الْعَظيمِ

Allahumma rabba-nuril-'azim,

the Lord of the Elevated Throne,

وَرَبَّ الْكُرْسِيِّ الرَّفيعِ

wa rabbal-kursiyyir-rafi',

the Lord of the swollen Ocean,

وَرَبَّ الْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ

wa rabbal-bahril-masjur,

the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel

وَمُنْزِلَ التَّوْراةِ وَالْإِنْجيلِ

wa munzilat-tawrati wal-injil,

and the Lord of the dark and the heat

وَرَبَّ الظِّلِّ وَالْحَرُورِ

wa rabbaz-zilli wal-harur,

the Revealer of the Psalms and the Great Qur'an

وَمُنْزِلَ الزَّبُورِ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْعَظيمِ

wa munzilaz-zaburi wal-qur'anil-'azim,

and the Lord of the Archangels,

وَرَبَّ الْمَلائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبينَ

wa rabbal-mala'ikatil-muqarrabin,

the Prophets and the Messengers.

وَالْأَنْبِياءِ الْمُرْسَلينَ

wal-ambiya'il-mursalin.

You are worshipped in the sky and You are the Lord of those who live on Earth,

أَنْتَ إِلهُ مَنْ فِي السَّماءِ وَ إِلهُ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ

Anta ilahu man fis-sama'i wa ilahu man fil-ard,

there is no God in both of them except You,

لا إِلهَ فيهِما غَيْرُكَ

la ilaha fihima ghayruk,

and You are Dominant over the dwellers of the sky

وَأَنْتَ جَبَّارُ مَنْ فِي السَّماءِ

wa anta jabbaru man fis-sama',

and the Dominant over the dwellers of the Earth,

وَجَبَّارُ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ

wa jabbaru man fil-ard,

none except You is Dominant in both these places,

لا جَبَّارَ فيهِما غَيْرُكَ

la jabbara fihima ghayruk,

and You are the Creator of those in the Sky

وَأَنْتَ خالِقُ مَنْ فِى السَّماءِ

wa anta khaliqu man fis-sama',

and the Creator of those living on Earth,

وَخالِقُ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ

wa khaliqu man fil-ard,

there is no Creator in both these places except You,

لا خالِقَ فيهِما غَيْرُكَ

la khaliqa fihima ghayruk,

and You are the Commander of the dwellers of Sky,

وَأَنْتَ حَكَمُ مَنْ فِي السَّماءِ

wa anta hakamu man fis-sama',

and the Commander of the Dwellers of the Earth, there is no Commander in both these places except You.

وَحَكَمُ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ لا حَكَمَ فيهِما غَيْرُكَ

wa hakamu man fil-ardi la hakama fihima ghayruk.

O’ Allah, I beseech You in Your Noble Face,

أَللَّهُمَّ إِنّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَريمِ

Allahumma inni as'aluka bi-wajhikal-karim,

and in the Light of Your Luminous Face, and Your Eternal Kingdom,

وَبِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الْمُنيرِ وَمُلْكِكَ الْقَديمِ

wa bi-nuri wajhikal-muniri wa mulkikal-qadim,

O’ Ever-Living! O’ Self Subsistent!

يا حَيُّ يا قَيُّومُ

ya Hayyu ya Qayyum.

I beseech You in the Name of Your Name with which the heavens and the earth have lit up,

أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذي أَشْرَقَتْ بِهِ السَّماواتُ وَالْأَرَضُونَ

As'aluka bismikal-ladhi ashraqat bihis-samawatu wal-aradun,

and in Your Name with which the past and the coming generations have become upright!

وَبِاسْمِكَ الَّذي يَصْلُحُ بِهِ الْأَوَّلُونَ وَالْآخِرُونَ

wa bismikal-ladhi yasluhu bihil-awwaluna wal-akhirun,

O’ He who has been always alive before the existence of all living things, O’ He who shall be alive after the extinction of all living things,

يا حَيّاً قَبْلَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ وَيا حَيّاً بَعْدَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ

ya hayyan qabla kulli hayy, wa ya hayyan ba'da kulli hayy,

O’ He who revives the dead ones and causes the living ones to die!

وَيا حَيّاً حينَ لا حَيَّ وَيا مُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتى

wa ya hayyan hina la hayy, wa ya muhyiyal-mawta,

O’ Ever-Living! There is no God save You, O’ Ever-Living, O’ Self-Subsistent.

وَيا حَيُّ لا إِلهَ إِلّا أَنْتَ يا حَيُّ يا قَيُّومُ

wa ya hayyu la ilaha illa anta ya Hayyu ya Qayyum.

I beseech You to bless Mohammad and his household,

أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

As'aluka an tusalliya 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad,

and to give me sustenance from where I reckon

وَارْزُقْني مِنْ حَيْثُ أَحْتَسِبُ

warzuqni min haythu ahtasib,

and from where I do not reckon,

وَمِنْ حَيْثُ لا أَحْتَسِبُ

wa min haythu la ahtasib,

an extensive, Halal and healthy sustenance,

رِزْقاً واسِعاً حَلالاً طَيِّباً

rizqan wasi'an halalan tayyiba,

and to relieve me of all the sorrows and grieves,

وَأَنْ تُفَرِّجَ عَنِّي كُلَّ غَمٍّ وَهَمٍّ

wa an tufarrija 'anni kulla ghammin wa hamm,

and to grant me all that I hope for and desire,

وَأَنْ تُعْطِيَني ما أَرْجُوهُ وَآمُلُهُ

wa an tu'tiyani ma arjuhu wa amiluh,

indeed You have Power over all things.

إِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ قَديرٌ

innaka 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.
