subhaana manis tanaara bil-hawle wal quwwate
Glory be to one, who is illuminated by power and strength.
subhaana maneh tajaba fee sab-e’ samaawaatein,
Glory be to one, who is veiled in the seven skies,
falaa a’yno taraaho
so no eye sees Him.
subhaana man azallal khalaaeqa bil-mawte,
Glory be to one, who degraded the creatures through death
wa a-a’zza nafsahu bil-hayaate
and exalted His self by life.
subhaana man yabqaa wa yafnaa kullo shay-in sewaaho,
Glory be to one, who saves and annihilates all the things, except Himself;
subhaana manis takhlasal hamda le-nafsehi, war tazaaho,
Glory be to one, who reserved the praise for Himself, and chose.
subhaanal hayyil a’leeme,
Glory be to the living and the knowing;
subhaanal haleemil kareeme,
Glory be to forbearing and noble;
subhaanal malekil quddoose,
Glory be to the king and the sanctified;
subhaanal (a’liyyil) a’zeeme,
Glory be to the high and the great.
subhaanal laale wa behamdehi.
Glory be to Allah and praise be for Him.
