Sahifa Imam Baqir (as) - Section 8
Section Part
Part 4 — Supplications for Sustenance and Sufficiency (Rizq and Ghinā)
اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا
Allāhumma urzuqnī rizqan wāsiʿan ḥalālan ṭayyiban
O Allah, provide me with an expansive, lawful, and pure sustenance.
مِنْ غَيْرِ كَدٍّ وَلَا تَعَبٍ وَلَا نَصَبٍ
Min ghayri kaddin wa lā taʿab wa lā naṣab
Without hardship, without fatigue, and without strain.
وَلَا سُؤَالٍ مِنَ الْخَلْقِ
Wa lā suʾālin mina al‑khalq
And without asking from creation.
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Innaka ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr
Indeed, You have power over all things.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allāhumma ikfinī bi‑faḍlika ʿamman siwāk
O Allah, suffice me through Your bounty from all besides You.
وَارْزُقْنِي مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا أَحْتَسِبُ
Wa urzuqnī min ḥaythu lā aḥtasib
And provide for me from where I do not expect.
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي
Allāhumma bārik lī fī rizqī
O Allah, place blessing in my sustenance.
وَاقْنِعْنِي بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِي
Wa aqniʿnī bimā razaqtanī
And make me content with what You have provided me.
وَلَا تَفْتِنِّنِي بِمَا زَوَيْتَ عَنِّي
Wa lā taftinnī bimā zawayta ʿannī
And do not test me through what You have withheld from me.
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْفَقْرِ وَالْفَاقَةِ وَالذُّلِّ
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina al‑faqr wa al‑fāqah wa adh‑dhull
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from poverty, need, and humiliation.
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ
Wa aʿūdhu bika an aẓlima aw uẓlam
And I seek refuge in You from wronging others or being wronged.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ رِزْقَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ قُوتًا
Allāhumma ijʿal rizqa āli Muḥammad qūtan
O Allah, make the sustenance of the family of Muḥammad sufficient provision.
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ رِزْقًا طَيِّبًا
Allāhumma innī asʾaluka rizqan ṭayyiban
O Allah, I ask You for pure sustenance.
وَعِلْمًا نَافِعًا
Wa ʿilman nāfiʿan
And beneficial knowledge.
وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Wa ʿamalan mutaqabbalan
And accepted action.
Here is Section 5 — Comprehensive Supplications (Jawāmiʿ al‑Maṭālib),
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلِ الدُّنْيَا أَكْبَرَ هَمِّنَا …
Allāhumma lā tajʿal ad‑dunyā akbara hamminā …
O Allah, do not make the world our greatest concern …
