Sahifa Imam Baqir (as) - Section 4
(The original continued text is truncated in the source.)
Ilāhī kafā bī ʿizzan an akūna laka ʿabdan
My God, it is sufficient honor for me that I am Your servant.
Allāhumma innaka wahabtana ajalla shayʾin ʿindak, wa huwa al‑īmān bika min ghayri suʾāl
O Allah, indeed You have granted us the most noble thing with You — faith in You without asking.
So do not deprive us, after that, of forgiveness — along with supplication and earnest pleading.
Fa‑anta alladhī yughni ʿilmuhu ʿani al‑maqāl
For You are the One whose knowledge suffices in place of speech.
Wa karamuhu ʿani as‑suʾāl
And whose generosity suffices in place of asking.
