Sahifa Imam Baqir (as) - Section 3
(Describing Allah’s Attributes, Oneness, and Divine Declaration)
(Partial / Incomplete Dua - Text truncated in source.)
Allāhumma innaka tarā wa lā turā
O Allah, indeed You see and are not seen.
Wa anta bi‑l‑manẓari al‑aʿlā ...
And You are in the highest station of perception …
Yā dhā alladhī kāna qabla kulli shayʾ
O Possessor of the One who existed before everything.
Thumma khalaqa kulla shayʾ
Then He created everything.
Thumma yabqā wa yafnā kullu shayʾ
Then He remains while everything perishes.
Wa yā dhā alladhī laysa fī as‑samāwāti al‑ʿulā
O Possessor of the One — there is none in the highest heavens.
Wa lā fī al‑arāḍīna as‑suflā
Nor in the lowest earths.
Wa lā fawqahunna, wa lā baynahunna, wa lā taḥtahunnā
Nor above them, nor between them, nor beneath them.
Ilāhun yuʿbadu ghayruh
There is no deity worshipped other than Him.
(Completion implied from Sūrat al‑Ikhlāṣ.)
Yā Aḥad, yā Ṣamad
O One, O Eternal Refuge.
Yā man lam yalid wa lam yūlad
O One who neither begets nor is begotten.
Wa lam yakun lahu …
And there is none comparable to Him …
Lā ilāha illā Allāh waḥdah, waḥdah, waḥdah
There is no deity except Allah — alone, alone, alone.
