Eid ul Fitr
Recite the following “takbeerat” at the end of Maghrib / Ishaa / Fajr and also on Eid Prayers
اللَّهُ اكْبَرُ ٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ
allahu akbar allahu akbar
Allah is Great. Allah is Great.
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ
la ilaha illa allahu
There is no god save Allah.
وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَر ُاللَّهُ اكْبَرُ
wallahu akbar allahu akbar
And Allah is Great.Allah is Great.
وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْحَمْدُ
wa lillahi alhamd
All praise be to Allah.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَانَا
alhamdu lillahi `ala ma hadana
All praise be to Allah for He has shown us the Right Path.
وَلَهُ ٱلشُّكْرُ عَلَىٰ مَا اوْلانَا
wa lahu alshshukru `ala ma awlana
All thanks be to Him for that which He has conferred upon us.

Recite Surah Mulk (no. 67)
After Maghrib prayers and its “Naafilah” pray a Two (2) Rak-at Salaat:
(i) In the first Rak-a’t after the recitation of Soorah Al Faatih’ah,
recite Soorah Al Ikhlaas 100 times.(1000 times also mentioned) -
(ii) In the second Rak-a’t, after the recitation of Soorah Al Faatih’ah ,
recite Soorah Al Ikhlass 1 time - (iii) After the Salaam recite 100 times in Sajdah:
أَتُوبُ إِلَى اللّهِ
A tobu illallaah
I turn repentant unto Allah
then say
يَا ذَا ٱلْمَنِّ وَٱلْجُودِ يَا ذَا ٱلْمَنِّ وَٱلطَّوْلِ يَا مُصْطَفِيَ مُحَمَّد صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ
Ya dha almanni waljudi Yaa d’al manni wat’ t’awl yaa mus’t’afiya muh’ammadin s’allallaahu a’layhi wa aalihee s’alli a’laa mu’ammadin wa aalihee
O Owner of bounties and benefits, O He who made a choice of Muhammad to place His trust in him, blessings of Allah be on him and on his children, send blessing on Muhammad and on his children
After Maghrib raise your hands towards the sky and say:
يَا ذَا ٱلْمَنِّ وَٱلطَّوْلِ
ya dha almanni walttawli
O Lord of favor and bounty!
يَا ذَا ٱلْجُودِ
ya dha aljudi
O Lord of magnanimity!
يَا مُصْطَفِيَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَنَاصِرَهُ
ya mustafiya muhammadin wa nasirahu
O He Who has chosen Muhammad and granted him victory!
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
(Please) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَٱغْفِرْ لِي كُلَّ ذَنْبٍ احْصَيْتَهُ
waghfir li kulla dhanbin ahsaytahu
and forgive me all the sins that You have known (from me)
وَهُوَ عِنْدَكَ فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ
wa huwa `indaka fi kitabin mubinin
and they are written with you in a manifest record.
Shaykh al-Tusi, mentiond it is recommended to prostrate after the Maghrib and `Isha' Prayers and then say the following supplication:
يَا ذَا الْحَوْلِ
ya dhalhawli
O the Lord of power;
يَا ذَا الطّوْلِ
ya dhalttawli
O the Lord of bounty;
يَا مُصْطَفِياً مُحَمّداً وَنَاصِرَهُ
ya mustafiyan muhammadan wa nasirahu
O He Who has chosen Muhammad and granted him victory;
صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ
salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
(please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَاغْفِرْ لِي كُلّ ذَنْبٍ أَذْنَبْتُهُ
waghfir li kulla dhanbin adhnabtuhu
and forgive me every sin that I have committed
وَنَسِيتُهُ أَنَا وَهُوَ عِنْدَكَ فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ
wa nasituhu ana wa huwa `indaka fi kitabin mubinin
and forgotten, but it is recorded with You in a Manifest Record.
Then Say: waf—a’lbee
And do for me (mention your legitimate desires)
Then prostrate and say 100 times in Sajdah - Then invoke Allah to fulfill your legitimate desires.
أَتُوبُ إِلَى اللّهِ
A tobu illallaah
I turn repentant unto Allah
يَا دَائِمَ ٱلْفَضْلِ عَلَىٰ ٱلْبَريِّةِ
ya da'ima alfadli `ala albariyyati
O He Who is ever-Favorer on the beings!
يَا بَاسِطَ ٱلْيَدَيْنِ بِٱلْعَطِيَّةِ
ya basita aliyadayni bil`atiyyati
O He Who is openhandedly Bestower of gifts!
يَا صَاحِبَ ٱلْمَوَاهِبِ ٱلسَّنِيَّةِ
ya sahiba almawahibi alssaniyyati
O He Who is the Giver of sublime donations!
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمِّدٍ وَآلِهِ
salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi
Bless Muhammad and his Household,
خَيْرِ ٱلْوَرَىٰ سَجِيَّةً
khayri alwara sajiyyatan
the best of all creatures in traits,
وَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا يَا ذَٱ ٱلْعُلَىٰ
waghfir lana ya dhal`ula
and forgive us, O Lord of Highness,
فِي هٰذِهِ ٱلْعَشِيَّةِ
fi hadhihi al`ashiyyati
at this evening.
Prayer of Fourteen (14) units -Surah al-Fatihah once, Ayah al-Kursi once, and Surah al-Tawhid three times in each unit.
The reward of offering each unit of this prayer is as same as the reward of forty-year worship as well as the reward of each and every one who has observed fasting and offered prayers in this month.
In Misbah al-Mutahajjid, Shaykh al-Tusi says: At the last hour of this night, you may take Ghusl and sit in your prayer-place until dawn.
Recite this Dua on the night of Eid after Isha Salat
يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya allahu ya allahu ya allahu
O Allah! O Allah! O Allah!
يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rahmanu ya allahu
O Beneficent! O Allah!
يَا رَحيمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rahimu ya allahu
O Merciful! O Allah!
يَا مَلِكُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya maliku ya allahu
O Sovereign! O Allah!
يَا قُدُّوسُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya quddusu yallahu
O Most Holy! O Allah!
يَا سَلاَمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya salamu ya allahu
O Peace! O Allah!
يَا مؤْمِنُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mu'minu ya allahu
O Giver of security! O Allah!
يَا مُهَيْمِنُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya muhayminu ya allahu
O All-prevailing! O Allah!
يَا عَزيزُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya `azizu ya allahu
O Almighty! O Allah!
يَا جَبَّارُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya jabbaru ya allahu
O Omnipotent! O Allah!
يَا مُتَكَبِّرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mutakabbiru ya allahu
O All-great! O Allah!
يَا خَالِقُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya khaliqu ya allahu
O Creator! O Allah!
يَا بَارِئُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya bari'u ya allahu
O Inventor! O Allah!
يَا مُصَوِّرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya musawwiru ya allahu
O Shaper! O Allah!
يَا عَالِمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya `alimu ya allahu
O All-knowing! O Allah!
يَا عَظيمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya `azimu ya allahu
O Great! O Allah!
يَا عَليمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya `alimu ya allahu
O Knowing! O Allah!
يَا كَريمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya karimu ya allahu
O All-generous! O Allah!
يَا حَليمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya halimu ya allahu
O Indulgent! O Allah!
يَا حَكيمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya hakimu ya allahu
O Wise! O Allah!
يَا سَميعُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya sami`u yallahu
O Hearer! O Allah!
يَا بَصيرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya basiru ya allahu
O Seer! O Allah!
يَا قَريبُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya qaribu ya allahu
O Near! O Allah!
يَا مُجيبُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mujibu ya allahu
O Responder! O Allah!
يَا جَوَادُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya jawadu ya allahu
O All-magnanimous! O Allah!
يَا مَاجِدُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya majidu ya allahu
O Glorious! O Allah!
يَا مِليُّ يَا اللَّهُ
ya maliyyu ya allahu
O Rich and Powerful! O Allah!
يَا وَفِيُّ يَا اللَّهُ
ya wafiyyu ya allahu
O Sincere! O Allah!
يَا مَوْلَىٰ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mawla yallahu
O Lord-Master! O Allah!
يَا قَاضي يَا اللَّهُ
ya qadi ya allahu
O Judge! O Allah!
يَا سَريعُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya sari`u ya allahu
O Swift! O Allah!
يَا شَديدُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya shadidu ya allahu
O Firm! O Allah!
يَا رَؤوفُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya ra'ufu ya allahu
O Compassionate! O Allah!
يَا رَقيبُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya raqibu ya allahu
O Preserver! O Allah!
يَا مَجيدُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya majidu ya allahu
O Mighty! O Allah!
يَا حَفيظُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya hafizu ya allahu
O Protector! O Allah!
يَا مُحيطُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya muhitu ya allahu
O Encompasser! O Allah!
يَا سَيِّدَ ٱلسَّادَاتِ يَا اللَّهُ
ya sayyida alssadati ya allahu
O Chief of the chiefs! O Allah!
يَا اوَّلُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya awwalu ya allahu
O Ever-Foremost! O Allah!
يَا آخِرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya akhiru yallahu
O Eternally Last! O Allah!
يَا ظَاهِرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya zahiru ya allahu
O Evident! O Allah!
يَا بَاطِنُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya batinu ya allahu
O Intrinsic Fundamental! O Allah!
يَا فَاخِرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya fakhiru ya allahu
O Glorious! O Allah!
يَا قَاهِرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya qahiru yallahu
O Victor! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا وَدُودُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya wadudu yallahu
O Loving! O Allah!
يَا نُورُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya nuru ya allahu
O Light! O Allah!
يَا رَافِعُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rafi`u ya allahu
O Raiser! O Allah!
يَا مَانِعُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mani`u ya allahu
O Preventer! O Allah!
يَا دَافِعُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya dafi`u yallahu
O Defender! O Allah!
يَا فَاتِحُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya fatihu ya allahu
O Introducer! O Allah!
يَا نَفَاحُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya naffahu ya allahu
O Bountiful! O Allah!
يَا جَليلُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya jalilu ya allahu
O Magnificent! O Allah!
يَا جَميلُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya jamilu ya allahu
O Handsome! O Allah!
يَا شَهيدُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya shahidu ya allahu
O Witness! O Allah!
يَا شَاهِدُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya shahidu ya allahu
O Present! O Allah!
يَا مُغيثُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mughithu ya allahu
O Succorer! O Allah!
يَا حَبيبُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya habibu ya allahu
O Beloved! O Allah!
يَا فَاطِرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya fatiru ya allahu
O Creator out of nothing! O Allah!
يَا مُطَهِّرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mutahhiru ya allahu
O Purifier! O Allah!
يَا مَلِكُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya maliku ya allahu
O Master! O Allah!
يَا مُقْتَدِرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya muqtadiru ya allahu
O All-powerful! O Allah!
يَا قَابِضُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya qabidu ya allahu
O Possessor! O Allah!
يَا بَاسِطُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya basitu ya allahu
O Spreader! O Allah!
يَا مِحيي يَا اللَّهُ
ya muhyi yallahu
O Vivifier! O Allah!
يَا مُميتُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mumitu ya allahu
O Exterminator! O Allah!
يَا بَاعِثُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya ba`ithu ya allahu
O Causer! O Allah!
يَا وَارِثُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya warithu ya allahu
O Inheritor! O Allah!
يَا مُعطي يَا اللَّهُ
ya mu`ti ya allahu
O Bestower! O Allah!
يَا مُفْضِلُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mufdilu ya allahu
O Favorer! O Allah!
يَا مُنْعِمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mun`imu ya allahu
O Benefactor! O Allah!
يَا حَقُّ يَا اللَّهُ
ya haqqu ya allahu
O Truth! O Allah!
يَا مُبينُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mubinu ya allahu
O Distinct! O Allah!
يَا طَيِّبُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya tayyibu ya allahu
O Affable! O Allah!
يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya muhsinu ya allahu
O Polite! O Allah!
يَا مُجْمِلُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mujmilu ya allahu
O Graceful! O Allah!
يَا مُبْدِئُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mubdi'u ya allahu
O Originator! O Allah!
يَا مُعيدُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mu`idu ya allahu
O He Who brings back all things! O Allah!
يَا بَارِئُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya bari'u ya allahu
O He Who makes visible! O Allah!
يَا بَديعُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya badi`u ya allahu
O Inventor! O Allah!
يَا هَادي يَا اللَّهُ
ya hadi ya allahu
O Guide! O Allah!
يَا كَافِي يَا اللَّهُ
ya kafi ya allahu
O Able! O Allah!
يَا شَافِي يَا اللَّهُ
ya shafi ya allahu
O Efficacious! O Allah!
يَا عَلِيُّ يَا اللَّهُ
ya `aliyyu ya allahu
O High! O Allah!
يَا عَظيمُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya `azimu ya allahu
O Great! O Allah!
يَا حَنَّانُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya hannanu ya allahu
O Tender! O Allah!
يَا مَنَّانُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mannanu ya allahu
O Kind! O Allah!
يَا ذَا ٱلْطَّوْلِ يَا اللَّهُ
ya dha alttawli yallahu
O Owner of bounties! O Allah!
يَا مُتَعَالِي يَا اللَّهُ
ya muta`ali ya allahu
O Allah! O Most High! O Allah!
يَا عَدْلُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya `adlu ya allahu
O Just! O Allah!
يَا ذَا ٱلْمَعَارِجِ يَا اللَّهُ
ya dha alma`ariji ya allahu
O Owner of ascendancy! O Allah!
يَا صَادِقُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya sadiqu ya allahu
O Truthful! O Allah!
يَا صَدُوقُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya saduqu ya allahu
O Sincere! O Allah!
يَا دَيَّانُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya dayyanu ya allahu
O Requiter! O Allah!
يَا بَاقِي يَا اللَّهُ
ya baqi yallahu
O He Who remains for ever! O Allah!
يَا وَاقِي يَا اللَّهُ
ya waqi ya allahu
O Vigilant! O Allah!
يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ يَا اللَّهُ
ya dha aljalali ya allahu
O Owner of majesty! O Allah!
يَا ذَا ٱلإِكْرَامِ يَا اللَّهُ
ya dha al-ikrami ya allahu
O Owner of glory! O Allah!
يَا مَحْمُودُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mahmudu ya allahu
O Admirable! O Allah!
يَا مَعْبُودُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya ma`budu ya allahu
O Adorable! O Allah!
يَا صَانِعُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya sani`u ya allahu
O Maker! O Allah!
يَا مُعينُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mu`inu yallahu
O Helper! O Allah!
يَا مُكَوِّنُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya mukawwinu ya allahu
O Doer! O Allah!
يَا فَعَّالُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya fa``alu ya allahu
O Active! O Allah!
يَا لَطيفُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya latifu ya allahu
O Subtle! O Allah!
يَا غَفُورُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya ghafuru ya allahu
O Oft-forgiving! O Allah!
يَا شَكُورُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya shakuru ya allahu
O Very Thankful! O Allah!
يَا نُورُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya nuru ya allahu
O Splendid! O Allah!
يَا قَديرُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya qadiru ya allahu
O Omnipotent! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya rabbahu ya allahu
O Lord-Nourisher! O Allah!
اسْالُكَ انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّد
as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
I beseech You to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَتَمُنَّ عَلَيَّ بِرِضَاكَ
wa tamunna `alayya biridaka
favor on me with Your pleasure,
وَتَعْفُوَ عَنِّي بِحِلْمِكَ
wa ta`fuwa `anni bihilmika
grant me amnesty through Your munificence,
وَتُوَسِّعَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ رِزْقِكَ ٱلْحَلاَلِ ٱلطَّيِّبِ
wa tuwassi`a `alayya min rizqika alhalali alttayyibi
and expand Your lawful, good sustenance to me
وَمِنْ حَيْثُ احْتَسِبُ وَمِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ احْتَسِبُ
wa min haythu ahtasibu wa min haythu la ahtasibu
from whence I expect and from whence I do not,
فَإِنِّي عَبْدُكَ لَيْسَ لِي احَدٌ سِوَاكَ
fa'inni `abduka laysa li ahadun siwaka
for I am Your servant, I have no one else other than You,
وَلاَ احَدٌ اسْالُهُ غَيْرُكَ
wa la ahadun as'aluhu ghayruka
and there is no one to whom I turn to other than You!
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمينَ
ya arhama alrrahimina
O Most Merciful of the Merciful!
مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ
ma sha'a allahu
Only that which Allah wills takes place.
لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظيمِ
la quwwata illa billahi al`aliyyi al`azimi
There is no power except in Allah, the High, the Great.
One may then prostrate oneself and say the following:
يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya allahu yallahu yallahu
O Allah! O Allah! O Allah!
يَا رَبُّ يَا رَبُّ يَا رَبُّ
ya rabbi ya rabbi ya rabbi
O Lord-Nourisher! O Lord-Nourisher! O Lord-Nourisher!
يَا مُنْزِلَ ٱلْبَرَكَاتِ
ya munzila albarakati
O He Who sends down blessing!
بِكَ تُنْزَلُ كُلُّ حَاجَةٍ
bika tunzalu kullu hajatin
To You only are all desires turned.
اسْالُكَ بِكُلِّ ٱسْم فِي مَخْزُونِ ٱلْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ
as'aluka bikulli ismin fi makhzuni alghaybi `indaka
I beseech You in the name of every name treasured in Your invisible collection,
وَٱلاسْمَاءِ ٱلْمَشْهُورةِ عِنْدَكَ
wal-asma'i almashhurati `indaka
and in the name of Your celebrated names,
ٱلْمَكْتُوبَةِ عَلَىٰ سُرَادِقِ عَرْشِكَ
almaktubati `ala suradiqi `arshika
inscribed on the hangings of Your Throne,
انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّد
an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَانْ تَقْبَلَ مِنِّي شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ
wa an taqbala minni shahra ramadana
to accept my offerings made in the month of Ramadan,
وَتَكْتُبَنِي مِنَ ٱلْوَافِدينَ إِلىٰ بَيْتِكَ ٱلْحَرَامِ
wa taktubani min alwafidina ila baytika alharami
to record my name in the list of those who will journey to Your Sacred House,
وَتَصْفَحَ لِي عَنِ ٱلذُّنُوبِ ٱلْعِظَامِ
wa tasfaha li `an aldhdhunubi al`izami
to overlook my grand sins,
وَتَسْتَخْرِجَ لِي يَا رَبِّ كُنُوزَكَ يَا رَحْمٰنُ
wa tastakhrija li ya rabbi kunuzaka ya rahmanu
to demonstrate, O Lord, before me Your treasures, O All-beneficent!
on the Day of Eid Make Ghusl. Recite this before it:
اللّهُمّ إِيمَاناً بِكَ وَتَصْدِيقاً بِكِتَابِكَ وَاتّبَاعَ سُنّةِ نَبِيّكَ مُحَمّدٍ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ.
allahumma emanan bika wa tasdedan bikitabika wattiba`a sunnati nabiyyika muhammadin salla allahu `layhi wa alihi
O Allah, believing in Thee, fully aware of Thy Book, following the way of life of Thy Prophet Muhammad, Allah's blessings be on him and on his children, (I take bath)
after finishing ghusl, recite this
اللّهُمّ اجْعَلْهُ كَفَّارَةً لِذُنُوبِي وَطَهّرْ دِينِي. اللّهُمّ أَذْهِبْ عَنّي الدّنَس
allahumma ij`alhu kaffarattan lidhunube wa tahhir dene allahumma adh-hib `anniya alddanasa
O Allah let me make amends and compensate for my wrong doings, (so that) my religion becomes pure and O Allah remove the dirt from me
Sayyid Ibn Tawus has instructed, saying: After recitation of the Du`a' al-Nudbah, do sajda/prostrate yourself and say the following:
أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ حَرّهَا لا يُطْفأُ
a`udhu bika min narin harruha la yutfa'u
I seek refuge with Thee from the Fire whose hot flames do not get extinguished or grow dim,
وَجَدِيدُهَا لا يَبْلَى
wa jadeduha la yabla
whose energetic intensity does not loose its severity,
وَعَطْشَانُهَا لا يُرْوَى.
wa `atshanuha la yurwa
wherein parched throats never get quenched
You may then put your right cheek on the ground and say the following:
إِلهِي لا تُقَلّبْ وَجْهِي فِي النَّارِ بَعْدَ سُجُودِي وَتَعْفِيرِي لَكَ بِغَيْرِ مَنّ مِنّي عَلَيْكَ بَلْ لَكَ الْمَنّ عَلَيّ.
ilahe la tuqallib wajhiya finnari ba`da sujude wa ta`fere laka bighayri mannin minne `alayka bal laka almannu `alayya
O Allah do not throw me down head on into the Fire after I have prostrated in adoration before Thee and thrown myself on the ground to humble myself before Thee; it is not a show of favour from me unto Thee but it is (Thy) merciful benevolence Thou bestows on me.
You may then put your left cheek on the ground and say the following:
ارْحَمْ مَنْ أَسَاءَ وَاقْتَرَفَ وَاسْتَكَانَ وَاعْتَرَفَ.
irham man asa'a waqtarafa wastakana wa`tarafa
Have mercy on him who has transgressed and committed blunders, (but) now ashamed surrenders (to Thee) to receive absolution
You may then return to the (normal) prostration and say the following:
إِنْ كُنْتُ بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ فَأَنْتَ نِعْمَ الرّبّ، عَظُمَ الذّنْبُ مِنْ عَبْدِكَ فَلْيَحْسُنِ الْعَفْوُ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ يَا كَرِيمُ.
in kuntu bi'sa al`abdu fa anta ni`ma alrrabbu `azuma aldhdhanbu min `abdika falyahsun al`afwa min `indika ya karemu
I am a troublesome servant but Thou art the bountiful Lord-Nourisher. A great many mistakes have been committed by Thy servant but O Compassionate, from Thee (only) Lenient treatment is expected
You may then repeat the following one hundred times:
اَلْعَفْوَ، اَلْعَفْوَ
al`afwa al`afwa
(I plead for) pardon; (I plead for) pardon.
This dua is to be said after the Fajr /morning prayer of the Eid day
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي تَوَجَّهْتُ إِلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ أَمَامِي وَ عَلِيٍّ مِنْ خَلْفِي وَ عَنْ يَمِينِي وَ أَئِمَّتِي عَنْ يَسَارِي أَسْتَتِرُ بِهِمْ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ
O‟ my God! I turn to You by Muhammad (as) in my front, Ali (as) on my back and my right side, the Divine Leaders on my left side, and I seek refuge from Your Punishment by them.
وَ أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ زُلْفَى لَا أَجِدُ أَحَداً أَقْرَبَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْهُمْ فَهُمْ أَئِمَّتِي فَآمِنْ بِهِمْ خَوْفِي مِنْ عِقَابِكَ وَ سَخَطِكَ وَ أَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
I seek nearness to You. I find no one closer to You than them. They are my leaders, so please secure my fear of Your Wrath and Punishment by them and with Your Mercy include me amongst Your Servants in the ranks of the righteous.
أَصْبَحْتُ بِاللَّهِ مُؤْمِناً [مُوقِناً] مُخْلِصاً عَلَى دِينِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ سُنَّتِهِ وَ عَلَى دِينِ عَلِيٍّ وَ سُنَّتِهِ وَ عَلَى دِينِ الْأَوْصِيَاءِ وَ سُنَّتِهِمْ
I made it to the morning believing in God and sincerely devoted to Muhammad‟s (as) religion and his traditions; to Ali‟s (as) religion and his traditions; to the religion of the Trustees (as) and their traditions.
آمَنْتُ بِسِرِّهِمْ وَ عَلَانِيَتِهِمْ وَ أَرْغَبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فِيمَا
I believe in their secrets and what they made public.
رَغِبَ فِيهِ إِلَيْهِ مُحَمَّدٌ وَ عَلِيٌّ وَ الْأَوْصِيَاءُ وَ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذُوا مِنْهُ
I desire from God the Sublime what Muhammad, Ali and the Trustees desired.
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ وَ لَا عِزَّةَ وَ لَا مَنَعَةَ وَ لَا سُلْطَانَ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ الْعَزِيزِ الْجَبَّارِ الْمُتَكَبِّرِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَ مَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بالِغُ أَمْرِهِ
There is no Change or Power except with God – Exalted in Might, the Irresistible. I rely upon God. God suffices for whoever relies upon Him and God shall take care of his affairs.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُرِيدُكَ فَأَرِدْنِي وَ أَطْلُبُ مَا عِنْدَكَ فَيَسِّرْهُ لِي
O‟ my God! I desire You so please desire me and I demand what You have so please make it easy for me.
وَ اقْضِ لِي حَوَائِجِي فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ فِي كِتَابِكَ وَ قَوْلُكَ الْحَقُ شَهْرُ رَمَضانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدىً لِلنَّاسِ وَ بَيِّناتٍ مِنَ الْهُدى وَ الْفُرْقانِ
Please fulfill my needs as verily You said the following in Your Book and indeed whatever you say is right, “Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur‟an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong)…”
فَعَظَّمْتَ حُرْمَةَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ بِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ وَ خَصَصْتَهُ وَ عَظَّمْتَهُ بِتَصْيِيرِكَ فِيهِ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَقُلْتَ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَ الرُّوحُ فِيها بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ سَلامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ
You honored the sanctity of Ramadhan by sending down the Qur‟an during it and exalted it and made it unique with the Night of Destiny. You made it better than a thousand months. You said, “The Night of Destiny is better than a Thousand months. Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah‟s permission, on every errand: Peace!...This until the rise of morn!
اللَّهُمَّ وَ هَذِهِ أَيَّامُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ قَدِ انْقَضَتْ وَ لَيَالِيهِ قَدْ تَصَرَّمَتْ وَ قَدْ صِرْتُ مِنْهُ يَا إِلَهِي إِلَى مَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي وَ أَحْصَى لِعَدَدِهِ [بِعَدَدِهِ] مِنْ عَدَدِي فَأَسْأَلُكَ
my God!These were the days of the month of Ramadhan that have ended and its nights that have passed. And You know better than me where I have reached and You count better than I do.
يَا إِلَهِي بِمَا سَأَلَكَ بِهِ عِبَادُكَ الصَّالِحُونَ أ
O‟ my God! I ask You what Your Servants in the ranks of the righteous ask You for.
َنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تَتَقَبَّلَ [تَقْبَلَ] مِنِّي كُلَّمَا [مَا] تَقَرَّبْتُ بِهِ إِلَيْكَ وَ تَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيَّ بِتَضْعِيفِ عَمَلِي وَ قَبُولِ تَقَرُّبِي وَ قُرُبَاتِي وَ اسْتِجَابَةِ دُعَائِي
I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as) and accept from me what I tried to do to get closer to You and favor me even though my deeds are weak, accept my attempts to seek nearness to You and my deeds, and fulfill my supplications.
وَ هَبْ لِي مِنْكَ عِتْقَ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ وَ مُنَّ عَلَيَّ بِالْفَوْزِ بِالْجَنَّةِ وَ الْأَمْنِ يَوْمَ الْخَوْفِ مِنْ كُلِّ فَزَعٍ وَ مِنْ كُلِّ هَوْلٍ أَعْدَدْتَهُ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
And please save me from the Fire out of Your Bestowals! And honor me with salvation and shelter in Paradise and security on the Day of Fear from all horrors and troubles that You have prepared for the Resurrection Day.
أَعُوذُ بِحُرْمَةِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ وَ بِحُرْمَةِ نَبِيِّكَ وَ حُرْمَةِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَنْ يَنْصَرِمَ هَذَا الْيَوْمُ وَ لَكَ قِبَلِي تَبِعَةٌ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تُؤَاخِذَنِي بِهَا أَوْ ذَنْبٌ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تُقَايِسَنِي بِهِ وَ تُشْقِيَنِي وَ تَفْضَحَنِي بِهِ أَوْ خَطِيئَةٌ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تُقَايِسَنِي بِهَا وَ تَقْتَصَّهَا مِنِّي لَمْ تَغْفِرْهَا لِي
I take refuge in the sacredness of Your Noble Face, in the sacredness of Your Prophet (as), the sacredness of the righteous people, to let this day pass and let things be left that You have not forgiven and You want to question me about, or any sins with which You want to judge me, or disgrace me or humiliate me or offenses that You want to judge me with.
وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِحُرْمَةِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ الْفَعَّالِ لِمَا يُرِيدُ الَّذِي يَقُولُ لِلشَّيْءِ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ
And I ask You by the honor of Your Noble Face that You do as You Will and to whatever You want to create You say “be” and it is. There is no god but You.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ إِنْ كُنْتَ رَضِيتَ عَنِّي فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ أَنْ تَزِيدَنِي فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمُرِي رِضًا فَإِنْ [وَ إِنْ] كُنْتَ لَمْ تَرْضَ عَنِّي فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ فَمِنَ الْآنَ فَارْضَ عَنِّي السَّاعَةَ السَّاعَةَ
O‟ my God! I ask You by “There is no God but You” that if You are pleased with me in this month to increase Your Level of being pleased with me during the rest of my lifetime. And if You are not pleased with me in this month, become pleased with me at this very hour.
السَّاعَةَ وَ اجْعَلْنِي فِي هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ وَ فِي هَذَا الْمَجْلِسِ مِنْ عُتَقَائِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَ طُلَقَائِكَ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ وَ سُعَدَاءِ خَلْقِكَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Please let me be at this very hour, and in this meeting amongst those freed from the Fire, saved from Hell, and of Your prosperous creatures by Your Forgiveness and Mercy. O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحُرْمَةِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ شَهْرِي هَذَا خَيْرَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانٍ عَبَدْتُكَ فِيهِ وَ صُمْتُهُ لَكَ وَ تَقَرَّبْتُ بِهِ إِلَيْكَ مُنْذُ أَسْكَنْتَنِي فِيهِ
O‟ my God! I ask You by the honor of Your Noble Face to let this month be the best month of Ramadhan in which I worshipped You, and fasted for You, sought nearness to You since You let me reside in this world.
أَعْظَمَهُ أَجْراً وَ أَتَمَّهُ نِعْمَةً وَ أَعَمَّهُ عَافِيَةً وَ أَوْسَعَهُ رِزْقاً وَ أَفْضَلَهُ عِتْقَا مِنَ النَّارِ وَ أَوْجَبَهُ رَحْمَةً وَ أَعْظَمَهُ مَغْفِرَةً وَ أَكْمَلَهُ رِضْوَاناً وَ أَقْرَبَهُ إِلَى مَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضَى
Please let it be the month with the greatest reward, the most perfect blessings, the best well-being, the most extended sustenance, the best release from the Hell-fire, the most received Mercy, the greatest forgiveness, the most perfect pleasure, and the closest to what You like.
اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانٍ صُمْتُهُ لَكَ وَ ارْزُقْنِي الْعَوْدَ ثُمَّ الْعَوْدَ حَتَّى تَرْضَى وَ بَعْدَ الرِّضَا وَ حَتَّى تُخْرِجَنِي مِنَ الدُّنْيَا سَالِماً وَ أَنْتَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ وَ أَنَا لَكَ مَرْضِيٌّ
O‟ my God! Please do not let this be the last month of Ramadhan I fast for You.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِيمَا تَقْضِي وَ تُقَدِّرُ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ الْمَحْتُومِ الَّذِي لَا يُرَدُّ وَ لَا يُبَدَّلُ أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي مِمَّنْ تُثِيبُ [تنبت] وَ تُسَمِّي وَ تَقْضِي لَهُ وَ تَزِيدُ وَ تُحِبُّ لَهُ وَ تَرْضَى وَ أَنْ تَكْتُبَنِي مِنْ حُجَّاجِ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ فِي هَذَا الْعَامِ وَ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ الْمَبْرُورِ حَجُّهُمُ الْمَشْكُورِ سَعْيُهُمُ الْمَغْفُورِ ذُنُوبُهُمُ الْمُتَقَبَّلِ عَنْهُمْ مَنَاسِكُهُمُ الْمُعَافَيْنَ [المعانين] عَلَى أَسْفَارِهِمُ الْمُقْبِلِينَ عَلَى نُسُكِهِمُ الْمَحْفُوظِينَ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَ ذَرَارِيهِمْ وَ كُلِّ مَا أَنْعَمْتَ بِهِ عَلَيْهِمْ
O‟ God! Please bless me with its return over and over so as to please You, and even after attaining Your Pleasure by taking me out of this world in perfect health, with You pleased with me and me pleased with You.
اللَّهُمَّ اقْلِبْنِي مِنْ مَجْلِسِي هَذَا فِي شَهْرِي هَذَا فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا فِي سَاعَتِي هَذِهِ مُفْلِحاً مُنْجِحاً مُسْتَجَاباً لِي مَغْفُوراً ذَنْبِي مُعَافاً مِنَ النَّارِ وَ مُعْتَقاً مِنْهَا عِتْقاً لَا رِقَّ بَعْدَهُ أَبَداً وَ لَا رَهْبَةَ يَا رَبَّ الْأَرْبَابِ
O‟ my God! And in what You decide and destine for me that do not change I ask you in this year and every year to write my name on the list of those pilgrims to Your Sacred House whose pilgrimage receives Your Approval, whose endeavors are appreciated, whose sins are forgiven, whose rituals are accepted, who are safe in their trips, who have turned to the performance of their deeds, and whose selves, property, family and all that You have bestowed upon them are protected.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ فِيمَا شِئْتَ وَ أَرَدْتَ وَ قَضَيْتَ وَ قَدَّرْتَ وَ حَتَمْتَ وَ أَنْفَذْتَ أَنْ تُطِيلَ عُمُرِي وَ أَنْ تَنْسَأَنِي فِي أَجَلِي وَ أَنْ تُقَوِّيَ ضَعْفِي وَ أَنْ تُغْنِيَ فَقْرِي وَ أَنْ تَجْبُرَ فَاقَتِي وَ أَنْ تَرْحَمَ مَسْكَنَتِي
O‟ my God! Please send me back from this session, this month, this day and this hour prosperous, successful with my supplications fulfilled, with my sins forgiven, and saved from the Fire. released from Hell, such a release that I will never be captured there. O‟ Lord of the lords!
وَ أَنْ تُعِزَّ ذُلِّي وَ أَنْ تَرْفَعَ ضَعَتِي وَ أَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَائِلَتِي وَ أَنْ تُؤْنِسَ وَحْشَتِي وَ أَنْ تُكْثِرَ قِلَّتِي وَ أَنْ تُدِرَّ رِزْقِي فِي عَافِيَةٍ وَ يُسْرٍ وَ خَفْضٍ وَ أَنْ تَكْفِيَنِي مَا أَهَمَّنِي مِنْ أَمْرِ دُنْيَايَ وَ آخِرَتِي
O‟ my God! I ask You to in what You will and decide, destine and decree, make certain and put into effect to elongate my life, procrastinate my death, alleviate my weakness, change my poverty into wealthiness, compensate for my poverty, have mercy on my helplessness,
وَ لَا تَكِلَنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي فَأَعْجِزَ عَنْهَا وَ لَا إِلَى النَّاسِ فَيَرْفُضُونِي
change my debasement into honor, change my lowliness to sublimity, provide wealth for my family, turn my fear into peace, increase my little, provide my sustenance in well-being, ease and calm and please take care of my affairs regarding my worldly affairs and the affairs of the Hereafter.
وَ أَنْ تُعَافِيَنِي فِي دِينِي وَ بَدَنِي وَ جَسَدِي وَ رُوحِي وَ وُلْدِي وَ أَهْلِي وَ أَهْلِ مَوَدَّتِي وَ إِخْوَانِي وَ جِيرَانِي مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ الْأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَ الْأَمْوَاتِ
Please do not leave me to myself as I am unable to manage it and do not leave me to the people as they shall deny me.
وَ أَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلَيَّ بِالْأَمْنِ وَ الْإِيمَانِ مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي فَإِنَّكَ وَلِيِّي وَ مَوْلَايَ وَ ثِقَتِي وَ رَجَائِي وَ مَعْدِنُ مَسْأَلَتِي وَ مَوْضِعُ شَكْوَايَ وَ مُنْتَهَى رَغْبَتِي فَلَا تُخَيِّبْنِي فِي رَجَائِي
Please grant good faith, good physical and spiritual health to me and my children, wife, friends, brethren and my close company of the believing men and women, the Muslim men and women whether dead or alive.
يَا سَيِّدِي وَ مَوْلَايَ وَ لَا تُبْطِلْ طَمَعِي وَ رَجَائِي فَقَدْ تَوَجَّهْتُ إِلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ قَدَّمْتُهُمْ إِلَيْكَ أَمَامِي وَ أَمَامَ حَاجَتِي وَ طَلِبَتِي وَ تَضَرُّعِي وَ مَسْأَلَتِي وَ اجْعَلْنِي [فَاجْعَلْنِي] بِهِمْ وَجِيهاً فِي الدُّنْيا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ فَإِنَّكَ مَنَنْتَ عَلَيَّ بِمَعْرِفَتِهِمْ [بِهِمْ] فَاخْتِمْ لِي بِهِمُ السَّعَادَةَ [بِالسَّعَادَةِ] إِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ زِيَادَةٌ فِيهِ مَنَنْتَ عَلَيَّ بِهِمْ فَاخْتِمْ لِي بِالسَّعَادَةِ وَ الْأَمْنِ وَ السَّلَامَةِ وَ الْإِيمَانِ وَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ وَ الرِّضْوَانِ وَ السَّعَادَةِ وَ الْحِفْظِ
And favor me by granting me security and faith for as long as I live as indeed You are my Guardian and my Master, my trust and my hope, the treasures for my needs.
يَا اللَّهُ أَنْتَ لِكُلِّ حَاجَةٍ لَنَا فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ عَافِنَا وَ لَا تُسَلِّطْ عَلَيْنَا أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَ اكْفِنَا كُلَّ أَمْرٍ مِنْ أَمْرِ [أُمُورِ] الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ
O‟ He who settles my complaints and my ultimate wish! Then please do not disappoint me of my hopes, O‟ my Master! My Guardian! Please do not disappoint me of hope and .
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ تَرَحَّمْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ سَلِّمْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَأَفْضَلِ مَا صَلَّيْتَ وَ بَارَكْتَ وَ رَحِمْتَ [وَ تَرَحَّمْتَ] وَ سَلَّمْتَ وَ تَحَنَّنْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ.
I turned to You by Muhammad and his Progeny (as) and I presented them ahead of my demands, my submissiveness and my begging. Please let me be honorable in this world and the Hereafter and from those who are close to You as indeed You have favored me by me knowing them. Make me prosperous by them as indeed You have power over all things.”
Additions:
“You favored me with them. Then please let me end with prosperity and security, well-being and faith, forgiveness and Your Pleasure, Prosperity and Protection.
O‟ God! You are in charge of all our needs! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as) and grant us well-being and do not subject us to any of Your creatures whom we cannot tolerate. Please suffice us in all our worldly and afterlife affairs.
O‟ Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor! O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as), and bestow Your Mercy on Muhammad and his Progeny (as). Please bless Muhammad and his Progeny (as) with Your favors in the manner You bestowed Your Blessings on Abraham (as) and his Progeny (as) and blessed them with your Mercy and Your Favor as You are Prasieworthy, and Glorious!”
In order to welcome the Eid day, you may address God as follows in order to attain His Benevolence
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ الْمُلُوكَ وَ الْأُمَرَاءَ قَدْ وَهَبُوا خِلَعاً لِمَمَالِيكِهِمْ وَ عَبِيدِهِمْ وَ جُنُودِهِمْ وَ لَوْ كَانَ الْمَمَالِيكُ مِنَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ
O‟ my God! The kings and the rulers have granted gifts to their servants, slaves and troops even if their servants are of the rich people.
وَ الْعَبْدُ الْمَمْلُوكُ رَأْسُهُ مَكْشُوفٌ مِنْ عَمَائِمِ الْمُرَاقَبَةِ الَّتِي تَلِيقُ بِكُمْ وَ مِنْ مَيَازِرِ الْإِخْلَاصِ الَّتِي تَجِبُ لَكُمْ وَ مِنْ سِتْرِ [سَتْرِ] الْإِقْبَالِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَ مِنَ الْخِلَعِ الَّتِي تَصْلُحُ لِلْحُضُورِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكُمْ وَ ثِيَابُ الْعَبْدِ الْمَمْلُوكِ خَلِقَةٌ بِيَدِ الْغَفَلَاتِ وَ دَنِسَةٌ مِنْ وَسَخِ الشَّهَوَاتِ وَ لِبَاسُ سَتْرِ عُيُوبِهِ مُمَزَّقٌ بِيَدِ إِيثَارِهِ
This servant of Yours lacks any turban of mediation or skirts of sincerity that You deserve for me to wear when I turn to you.I lack proper attire to come to Your Presence. The attire of Your servant is torn into pieces due to negligence, and polluted with lust. The attire to cover up his faults has been torn by his selfishness.
عَلَيْكُمْ وَ مِغْفَرُ غُفْرَانِ ذُنُوبِهِ مُكَسَّرٌ بِيَدِ تَهْوِينِهِ بِالاسْتِغْفَارِ الَّذِي يُقَرِّبُهُ إِلَيْكُمْ وَ عَوْرَاتُهُ مَكْشُوفَةٌ وَ عَثَرَاتُهُ مَخُوفَةٌ فَهُوَ مُتَهَتِّكٌ [مهتك] فِي هَذَا الْعِيدِ السَّعِيدِ بِسُوءِ مَلْبُوسِهِ وَ خَجْلَانٌ خِزْيَانٌ مِنْ ثِيَابِ نُحُوسِهِ
What could help forgive his sins has been destroyed by his belittling of asking for forgiveness that could make him closer to You. His private things are uncovered and his mischief is awesome.
فَمَا أَنْتُمْ صَانِعُونَ بِمَمْلُوكٍ يَقُولُ لِسَانُ حَالِهِ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَ إِنَّا إِلَيْهِ راجِعُونَ
On this blessed Festival, his honor is threatened due to this torn attire, and he is ashamed for wearing the attire of wretchedness.
وَ أَنْتُمْ عَلَّمْتُمُ الْمَمْلُوكَ [الْمُلُوكَ] مَكَارِمَ الْأَخْلَاقِ وَ عَنْكُمْ وَ مِنْكُمْ عُرِفَ ابْتِدَاءُ الْخِلَعِ وَ إِطْلَاقُ الْأَعْنَاقِ وَ الْأَرْزَاقِ وَ قَدْ كَانَ الْعَبْدُ الْمَمْلُوكُ لَمَّا ابْتَدَأْتُمْ
What will you do with your servants who say, "To God! We belong, and to Him is our return".
بِإِنْشَائِهِ عَرَفْتُمْ مَا يَقَعُ مِنْهُ مِنْ سُوءِ إِيَابِهِ [إِبَائِهِ] وَ وَسِعَهُ حِلْمُكُمْ حَتَّى خَلَعْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ خِلَعَ الْبَقَاءِ وَ خِلَعَ سَلَامَةِ الْأَعْضَاءِ وَ خِلَعَ الشِّفَاءِ مِنَ الْأَدْوَاءِ وَ كَسَوْتُمُوهُ لَحْماً وَ جِلْداً وَ بَالَغْتُمْ مَعَهُ إِنْعَاماً وَ رِفْداً
You taught the best etiquette to the kings, and the practice of bestowal of gifts, freeing slaves and providing sustenance started by You.
فَيَبْقَى الْعَبْدُ الْمَمْلُوكُ عُرْيَاناً بِحَضْرَتِكُمْ [فبحضرتكم] فَمَنْ ذَا يَسْتُرُهُ وَ يَكْسُوهُ إِذَا رَآهُ وَ قَدْ ضَاقَتْ عَنْهُ سَعَةُ رَحْمَتِكُمْ
You were well aware of his rebellion and bad disobedience since You created this servant. Your Forbearance was so vast as to bestow him the gifts of survival, physical health, treatment from various ailments, and cover him with flesh and skin and grant him many other gifts.
وَ مَنْ يَأْوِيهِ إِذَا نُودِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَيْ طَرِيدَ نَقِمَتِكُمْ فَيَا مَنْ خَلَعَ عَلَيْهِ وَ قَدْ عَرَفَ مَا يَنْتَهِي حَالُهُ إِلَيْهِ وَ رَبَّاهُ وَ غَذَّاهُ وَ آوَاهُ فَقَدْ
Who is going to cover up Your servant who is standing naked in front of You now and has been restrained of Your All-Embacing Mercy.
أَحَاطَ عِلْماً بِجُرْأَتِهِ عَلَيْهِ وَ مَا كَانَ قَدْ تَشَرَّفَ بِمَعْرِفَةِ مَوْلَاهُ وَ لَا ارْتَضَاهُ أَنْ يَخْدِمَهُ فِي دُنْيَاهُ ارْحَمْ اسْتِغَاثَتَهُ بِكَ وَ اسْتِكَانَتَهُ لَكَ وَ اسْتِجَارَتَهُ بِظِلِّكَ وَ وَسِيلَتَهُ بِفَضْلِكَ إِلَى عَدْلِكَ
Who is going to house him if he is told, „O‟ one who has been pushed away for punishment!‟ Then O‟ He who bestowed him gifts, knew his ultimate conditions, nourished him, fed him, gave him shelter.
وَ اكْسُهُ مِنْ [مَعَ] خِلَعِ الْعَفْوِ وَ الْغُفْرَانِ وَ الْأَمَانِ وَ الرِّضْوَانِ مَا يَكُونُ ذِكْرُهَا وَ شُكْرُهَا وَ نَشْرُهَا مَنْسُوباً إِلَى مُجَرَّدِ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ جُودِكَ فَقَدِ انْكَسَرَ قَلْبُهُ وَ خَجِلَ وَ اسْتَحْيَا مِنْ وُقُوفِهِ عُرْيَاناً فِي يَوْمِ [يَوْمَ] عِيدِكَ مَعَ كَثْرَةِ مَنْ خَلَعْتَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ عَبِيدِكَ وَ وُفُودِكَ وَ مَا لَهُ بَابٌ غَيْرُ بَابِكَ وَ هُوَ عَاجِزٌ عَنْ عِتَابِكَ فَكَيْفَ يَقْوَى عَلَى حِرْمَانِكَ وَ عِقَابِكَ.
Truly Your Knowledge encompassed his rudeness to You, his lack of recognition of his master, and his lack of being pleased with your servitude in this world. Then have mercy on his seeking help from You, his surrendering to You, his seeking sanctuary in Your Shade and his appealing to Your Nobility to benefit from Your Justice!
Please cover him with the gifts of Pardoning, Forgiveness, Security and Pleasure such that its remembrance, thankfulness and spreading be only ascribed to Your Mercy and Benevolence. His heart is broken and he is shy and ashamed of standing naked in front of You on the Festival day in spite of You having bestowed gifts to many of Your servants. There are no doors except Your door for him and he is not able to stand Your Blame! Then how could he stand Your Deprivation and Chastisement!”
The following is narrated through a chain of documents to Sheikh Abi Muhammad Harun ibn Musa al-Talakbari – May God be pleased with him – on the authority of Jabir ibn Yazid al-Ju‟afi, on the authority of Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari: “I was in Medina when it was governed by Marvan ibn al-Hikam as an agent of Yazid ibn Muaviyyih. It was during the month of Ramadhan on the last night when the callers called the people to go out to the Baqia Mosque for the Festival prayers. Then I left my house intending to go to the house of Ali ibn al-Hussein (as) early at dawn. As I was passing one of the pathways of Medina I saw the residents leaving the Baqia Mosque. They asked me, “O' Jabir! Where are you going?” “O‟ Jabir ! Where are you going?” He replied, “I am going to the Prophet‟s mosque.” When we arrived at the mosque and entered it, we found my master Ali ibn al-Hussein (as) who was standing by himself and saying the morning prayers. I stood up and said the assembly prayer with him (as). When he (as) finished the morning prayer, he (as) prostrated and made a thanking prostration. Then he (as) sat and said supplications. I said Amen to his (as) supplications. He (as) said supplications until sunrise. When the sun rose, he (as) stood up, stood facing the Qibla and the grave of God‟s Prophet (as). Then he (as) raised his hands towards the sky until they were placed in front of his face and said the following supplications.
إِلَهِي وَسَيِّدِي أَنْتَ فَطَرْتَنِي وَابْتَدَأْتَ خَلْقِي لَا لِحَاجَةٍ مِنْكَ إِلَيَّ بَلْ تَفَضُّلًا مِنْكَ عَلَيَّ
Ilahi wa sayyidi anta fatartani wab-tada’ta khalqi la li-hajatin minka ilayya bal tafaddulan minka ‘alayy.
My God and my Master, You originated me and began my creation, not out of a need for me, but as a favor from You to me.
وَقَدَّرْتَ لِي أَجَلًا وَرِزْقاً لَا أَتَعَدَّاهُمَا وَلَا يَنْقُصُنِي أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمَا شَيْئاً
Wa qaddarta li ajalan wa rizqan la ata’addahuma, wa la yanqusuni ahadun minhuma shay'a.
And You decreed for me a lifespan and a sustenance that I cannot exceed, and no one can diminish anything from either of them.
وَكَنَفْتَنِي مِنْكَ بِأَنْوَاعِ النِّعَمِ وَالْكِفَايَةِ طِفْلًا وَنَاشِئاً مِنْ غَيْرِ عَمَلٍ عَمِلْتُهُ فَعَلِمْتَهُ مِنِّي فَجَازَيْتَنِي عَلَيْهِ
Wa kanaftani minka bi-anwa’in-ni’ami wal-kifayati tiflan wa nashi’an min ghayri ‘amalin ‘amiltuhu fa-‘alimtahu minni fa-jazaytani ‘alayh.
And You shielded me with types of blessings and sufficiency as an infant and a youth, without any deed I performed that You knew of and rewarded me for.
بَلْ كَانَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكَ تَطَوُّلًا عَلَيَّ وَامْتِنَاناً
Bal kana dhalika minka tatawwulan ‘alayya wa-mtinana.
Rather, that was a graciousness and a bestowal of favor from You upon me.
فَلَمَّا بَلَغْتَ بِي أَجَلَ الْكِتَابِ مِنْ عِلْمِكَ بِي، وَوَفَّقْتَنِي لِمَعْرِفَةِ وَحْدَانِيَّتِكَ وَالْإِقْرَارِ بِرُبُوبِيَّتِكَ
Falamma balaghta bi ajalal-kitabi min ‘ilmika bi, wa waffaqtani li-ma’rifati wahdaniyyatika wal-iqrari bi-rububiyyatik.
Then, when You brought me to the appointed time in Your knowledge regarding me, You granted me the success of knowing Your Oneness and affirming Your Lordship.
فَوَحَّدْتُكَ مُخْلِصاً، لَمْ أَدَعْ لَكَ شَرِيكاً فِي مُلْكِكَ، وَلَا مُعِيناً عَلَى قُدْرَتِكَ
Fa-wahhadtuka mukhlisan, lam ada’ laka sharikan fi mulkika, wa la mu’inan ‘ala qudratik.
So I professed Your Oneness with sincerity, not assigning to You any partner in Your kingdom, nor any helper in Your power.
وَلَمْ أَنْسُبْ إِلَيْكَ صَاحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَداً
Wa lam ansub ilayka sahibatan wa la walada.
Nor did I attribute to You a companion or a son.
فَلَمَّا بَلَغْتَ بِي تَنَاهِيَ الرَّحْمَةِ مِنْكَ عَلَيَّ، مَنَنْتَ بِمَنْ هَدَيْتَنِي بِهِ مِنَ الضَّلَالَةِ، وَاسْتَنْقَذْتَنِي بِهِ مِنَ الْهَلَكَةِ
Falamma balaghta bi tanahiya-rrahmati minka ‘alayya, mananta bi-man hadaytani bihi minad-dalalati, was-tanqadhtani bihi minal-halakah.
Then, when You brought me to the culmination of Your mercy upon me, You bestowed a favor through him by whom You guided me from misguidance, and rescued me from destruction.
وَاسْتَخْلَصْتَنِي بِهِ مِنَ الْحِيرَةِ، وَفَكَكْتَنِي بِهِ مِنَ الْجَهَالَةِ
Was-takhlastani bihi minal-hirati, wa fakaktani bihi minal-jahalah.
And delivered me through him from bewilderment, and freed me through him from ignorance.
وَهُوَ حَبِيبُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ، أَزْلَفُ خَلْقِكَ عِنْدَكَ، وَأَكْرَمُهُمْ مَنْزِلَةً لَدَيْكَ
Wa huwa habibuka wa nabiyyuka Muhammadun sallallahu ‘alayhi wa alihi, azlafu khalqika ‘indaka, wa akramuhum manzilatan ladayk.
And he is Your beloved and Your Prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, the closest of Your creation to You, and the most honorable of them in station before You.
فَشَهِدْتُ مَعَهُ بِالْوَحْدَانِيَّةِ، وَأَقْرَرْتُ لَكَ بِالرُّبُوبِيَّةِ وَالرِّسَالَةِ، وَأَوْجَبْتَ لَهُ عَلَيَّ الطَّاعَةَ
Fa-shahidtu ma’ahu bil-wahdaniyyati, wa aqrartu laka bir-rububiyyati war-risalati, wa awjabta lahu ‘alayyat-ta’ah.
So I bore witness with him to the Oneness, and I affirmed to You the Lordship and the Message, and You made obedience to him obligatory upon me.
فَأَطَعْتُهُ كَمَا أَمَرْتَ، وَصَدَّقْتُهُ فِيمَا حَتَمْتَ
Fa-ata’tuhu kama amarta, wa saddaqtuhu fima hatamt.
Thus, I obeyed him as You commanded, and I believed him in what You decreed.
وَخَصَصْتَهُ بِالْكِتَابِ الْمَنْزَلِ عَلَيْهِ، وَالسَّبْعِ الْمَثَانِي الْمُوحَاةِ إِلَيْهِ، وَأَسْمَيْتَهُ الْقُرْآنَ، وَأَكْنَيْتَهُ الْفُرْقَانَ الْعَظِيمَ
Wa khassastahu bil-kitabil-munzali ‘alayhi, was-sab’il-mathanil-muhayati ilayhi, wa asmaytahul-qur’ana, wa aknaytahul-furqanal-‘azim.
And You distinguished him with the Book revealed to him, and the Seven Oft-Repeated verses inspired to him, and You named it the Quran, and gave it the title of the Great Criterion.
فَقُلْتَ جَلَّ اسْمُكَ: وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعاً مِنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ
Fa-qulta jalla ismuk: wa laqad ataynaka sab’an minal-mathani wal-qur’anal-‘azim.
For You said, exalted is Your name: "And We have certainly given you seven of the often repeated verses and the great Quran."
وَقُلْتَ جَلَّ قَوْلُكَ لَهُ حِينَ اخْتَصَصْتَهُ بِمَا سَمَّيْتَهُ بِهِ مِنَ الْأَسْمَاءِ: طه مَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ لِتَشْقَى
Wa qulta jalla qawluka lahu hina khtasastahu bima sammaytahu bihi minal-asma’: Ta-Ha, ma anzalna ‘alaykal-qur’ana li-tashqa.
And You said, exalted is Your word to him, when You distinguished him with the names You called him by: "Ta-Ha. We have not sent down to you the Quran that you be distressed."
وَقُلْتَ عَزَّ قَوْلُكَ: يس وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ. وَقُلْتَ تَقَدَّسَتْ أَسْمَاؤُكَ: ص وَالْقُرْآنِ ذِي الذِّكْرِ. وَقُلْتَ عَظُمَتْ آلَاؤُكَ: ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ
Wa qulta ‘azza qawluk: Ya-Sin wal-qur’anil-hakim. Wa qulta taqaddasat asma’uk: Sad wal-qur’ani dhidh-dhikr. Wa qulta ‘azumat ala’uk: Qaf wal-qur’anil-majid.
And You said, mighty is Your word: "Ya-Sin. By the wise Quran." And You said, sanctified are Your names: "Sad. By the Quran containing reminder." And You said, great are Your bounties: "Qaf. By the glorious Quran."
فَخَصَصْتَهُ أَنْ جَعَلْتَهُ قَسَمَكَ حِينَ أَسْمَيْتَهُ، وَقَرَنْتَ الْقُرْآنَ مَعَهُ
Fa-khassastahu an ja’altahu qasamaka hina asmaytahu, wa qarantal-qur’ana ma’ah.
So You favored him by making his name Your oath when You named him, and You coupled the Quran with him.
فَمَا فِي كِتَابِكَ مِنْ شَاهِدِ قَسَمٍ وَالْقُرْآنُ مُرْدَفٌ بِهِ إِلَّا وَهُوَ اسْمُهُ
Fama fi kitabika min shahidi qasamin wal-qur’anu murdafun bihi illa wa huwa ismuh.
For there is no oath in Your Book followed by the Quran except that it is his name.
وَذَلِكَ شَرَفٌ شَرَّفْتَهُ بِهِ، وَفَضْلٌ بَعَثْتَهُ إِلَيْهِ
Wa dhalika sharafun sharraftahu bihi, wa fadlun ba’athtahu ilayh.
And that is an honor with which You honored him, and a grace You sent to him.
تَعْجِزُ الْأَلْسُنُ وَالْأَفْهَامُ عَنْ وَصْفِ مُرَادِكَ بِهِ، وَتَكِلُّ عَنْ عِلْمِ ثَنَائِكَ عَلَيْهِ
Ta’jizul-alsunu wal-afhamu ‘an wasfi muradika bihi, wa takillu ‘an ‘ilmi thana’ika ‘alayh.
Tongues and minds fall short of describing Your intent for him, and are unable to comprehend Your praise for him.
فَقُلْتَ عَزَّ جَلَالُكَ فِي تَأْكِيدِ الْكِتَابِ وَقَبُولِ مَا جَاءَ فِيهِ: هَذَا كِتَابُنَا يَنْطِقُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْحَقِّ
Fa-qulta ‘azza jalaluka fi ta’kidil-kitabi wa qabuli ma ja’a fih: hadha kitabuna yantiqu ‘alaykum bil-haqq.
Thus You said, mighty is Your majesty, in confirming the Book and accepting what has come in it: "This is Our record; it speaks about you in truth."
وَقُلْتَ عَزَّزْتَ وَأَجْلَلْتَ: مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِي الْكِتَابِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ
Wa qulta ‘azzazta wa ajlalt: ma farratna fil-kitabi min shay’.
And You said, glorified and exalted are You: "We have not neglected in the Register a thing."
وَقُلْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ فِي عَامَّةِ ابْتِدَائِهِ: الر تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْحَكِيمِ، الر كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ، الر كِتَابٌ أُحْكِمَتْ آيَاتُهُ، الر تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ، وَالم ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ
Wa qulta tabarakta wa ta’alayta fi ‘ammati btida’ih: Alif-Lam-Ra tilka ayatul-kitabil-hakim, Alif-Lam-Ra kitabun anzalnahu ilayk, Alif-Lam-Ra kitabun uhkimat ayatuh, Alif-Lam-Ra tilka ayatul-kitabil-mubin, wa Alif-Lam-Mim dhalikal-kitabu la rayba fih.
And You said, blessed and exalted are You, in most of its beginnings: "Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the wise Book," "Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you," "Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book whose verses are perfected," "Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the clear Book," and "Alif, Lam, Mim. This is the Book about which there is no doubt."
وَفِي أَمْثَالِهَا مِنْ سُوَرِ الطَّوَاسِينِ وَالْحَوَامِيمِ، فِي كُلِّ ذَلِكَ ثَنَّيْتَ بِالْكِتَابِ مَعَ الْقَسَمِ الَّذِي هُوَ اسْمُ مَنِ اخْتَصَصْتَهُ لِوَحْيِكَ، وَاسْتَوْدَعْتَهُ سِرَّ غَيْبِكَ
Wa fi amthaliha min suwarit-Tawasini wal-Hawamimi, fi kulli dhalika thannayta bil-kitabi ma’al-qasamil-ladhi huwa ismu mani khtasastahu li-wahyika, was-tawda’tahu sirra ghaybik.
And in similar chapters beginning with Ta-Sin and Ha-Mim; in all of that, You paired the Book with the oath that is the name of the one You singled out for Your revelation, and entrusted with the secret of Your unseen.
فَأَوْضَحَ لَنَا مِنْهُ شُرُوطَ فَرَائِضِكَ، وَأَبَانَ لَنَا عَنْ وَاضِحِ سُنَّتِكَ، وَأَفْصَحَ لَنَا عَنِ الْحَلَالِ وَالْحَرَامِ
Fa-awdaha lana minhu shuruta fara’idik, wa abana lana ‘an wadihi sunnatik, wa afsaha lana ‘anil-halali wal-haram.
Thus, he clarified for us from it the conditions of Your obligatory duties, made apparent to us Your clear tradition, and explained to us the permissible and the forbidden.
وَأَنَارَ لَنَا مُدْلَهِمَّاتِ الظَّلَامِ، وَجَنَّبَنَا رُكُوبَ الْآثَامِ، وَأَلْزَمَنَا الطَّاعَةَ، وَوَعَدَنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهَا الشَّفَاعَةَ
Wa anara lana mudlahimmatiz-zalam, wa jannabana rukubal-atham, wa alzamana-tta’ah, wa wa’adana min ba’diha-shshafa’ah.
He illuminated the pitch-black darkness for us, turned us away from committing sins, bound us to obedience, and promised us intercession thereafter.
فَكُنْتُ مِمَّنْ أَطَاعَ أَمْرَهُ، وَأَجَابَ دَعْوَتَهُ، وَاسْتَمْسَكَ بِحَبْلِهِ
Fa-kuntu mimman ata’a amrahu, wa ajaba da’watahu, was-tamsaka bi-hablih.
So I was among those who obeyed his command, answered his call, and held fast to his rope.
فَأَقَمْتُ الصَّلَاةَ، وَآتَيْتُ الزَّكَاةَ، وَالْتَزَمْتُ الصِّيَامَ الَّذِي جَعَلْتَهُ حَقّاً
Fa-aqamtus-salata, wa ataytuz-zakata, wal-tazamtus-siyamal-ladhi ja’altahu haqqa.
So I established the prayer, gave the alms (zakat), and committed to the fasting which You established as a right.
فَقُلْتَ جَلَّ اسْمُكَ: كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ
Fa-qulta jalla ismuk: kutiba ‘alaykumus-siyamu kama kutiba ‘alal-ladhina min qablikum.
For You said, exalted is Your name: "Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you."
ثُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَبَنْتَهُ فَقُلْتَ عَزَّزْتَ وَجَلَّلْتَ مِنْ قَائِلٍ: شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ. وَقُلْتَ: فَمَنْ شَهِدَ مِنْكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ
Thumma innaka abantahu fa-qulta ‘azzazta wa jallalta min qa’il: shahru ramadanal-ladhi unzila fihil-qur’an. Wa qulta: fa-man shahida minkumush-shahra fal-yasumh.
Then You made it clear, and You said, glorified and exalted are You as a speaker: "The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran." And You said: "So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it."
وَرَغَّبْتَ فِي الْحَجِّ بَعْدَ إِذْ فَرَضْتَهُ إِلَى بَيْتِكَ الَّذِي حَرَّمْتَهُ، فَقُلْتَ جَلَّ اسْمُكَ: وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا
Wa raghghabta fil-hajji ba’da idh faradtahu ila baytikal-ladhi harramtahu, fa-qulta jalla ismuk: wa lillahi ‘alan-nasi hijjul-bayti manis-tata’a ilayhi sabila.
And You encouraged the pilgrimage after You made it obligatory to Your House which You made sacred. Thus You said, exalted is Your name: "And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way."
وَقُلْتَ عَزَّزْتَ وَجَلَّلْتَ: وَأَذِّنْ فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَى كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِنْ كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ
Wa qulta ‘azzazta wa jallalt: wa adhdhin fin-nasi bil-hajji ya’tuka rijalan wa ‘ala kulli damirin ya’tina min kulli fajjin ‘amiq.
And You said, glorified and exalted are You: "And proclaim to the people the Hajj; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass."
لِيَشْهَدُوا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ عَلَى مَا رَزَقَهُمْ مِنْ بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ
Li-yashhadu manafi’a lahum wa yadhkurus-ma Allahi fi ayyamin ma’lumatin ‘ala ma razaqahum min bahimatil-an’am.
"That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals."
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا
Allahumma inni as’aluka an taj’alani minal-ladhina yastati’una ilayhi sabila.
O Allah, I ask You to make me among those who are able to find a way to it.
وَمِنَ الرِّجَالِ الَّذِينَ يَأْتُونَهُ لِيَشْهَدُوا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَلِيُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاهُمْ وَأَعِنِّي
Wa minar-rijalil-ladhina ya’tunahu li-yashhadu manafi’a lahum wa li-yukabbiru Allaha ‘ala ma hadahum wa a’inni.
And among the men who come to it to witness benefits for themselves and to magnify Allah for having guided them, and help me.
اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى جِهَادِ عَدُوِّكَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ مَعَ وَلِيِّكَ كَمَا قُلْتَ جَلَّ قَوْلُكَ
Allahumma ‘ala jihadi ‘aduwwika fi sabilika ma’a waliyyika kama qulta jalla qawluk.
O Allah, in striving against Your enemy in Your path alongside Your guardian, as You said, exalted is Your word:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَى مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
Inna Allaha shtaray minal-mu’minina anfusahum wa amwalahum bi-anna lahumul-jannata yuqatiluna fi sabilillah.
"Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah..."
وَقَدْ قُلْتَ جَلَّتْ أَسْمَاؤُكَ: وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتَّى نَعْلَمَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ مِنْكُمْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَنَبْلُوَ أَخْبَارَكُمْ
Wa qad qulta jallat asma’uk: wa la-nabluwannakum hatta na’lamal-mujahidina minkum was-sabirina wa nabluwa akhbarakum.
And You have said, exalted are Your names: "And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you and the patient, and We will test your affairs."
اللَّهُمَّ فَأَرِدْنِي ذَلِكَ السَّبِيلَ حَتَّى أُقَاتِلَ فِيهِ بِنَفْسِي وَمَالِي طَلَبَ رِضَاكَ فَأَكُونَ مِنَ الْفَائِزِينَ
Allahumma fa-aridni dhalikas-sabila hatta uqatila fihi bi-nafsi wa mali talaba ridaka fa-akuna minal-fa’izin.
O Allah, direct me to that path so that I may strive in it with my self and my wealth, seeking Your pleasure, so that I may be among the successful.
إِلَهِي أَنَّى الْمَفَرُّ عَنْكَ فَلَا يَسَعُنِي بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا حِلْمُكَ، فَكُنْ بِي رَءُوفاً رَحِيماً
Ilahi annal-mafarru ‘anka fala yasa’uni ba’da dhalika illa hilmuka, fa-kun bi ra’ufan rahima.
My God, where is the escape from You? Nothing can encompass me after that except Your forbearance, so be kind and merciful to me.
وَاقْبَلْنِي وَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي، وَأَعْظِمْ لِي فِيهِ بَرَكَةَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ وَمَثُوبَةَ الْأَجْرِ، وَارْزُقْنِي صِحَّةَ التَّصْدِيقِ بِمَا سَأَلْتُ
Waq-balni wa taqabbal minni, wa a’zim li fihi barakatal-maghfirati wa mathubatal-ajr, war-zuqni sihhatat-tasdiqi bima sa’alt.
Accept me and accept from me, and maximize for me therein the blessing of forgiveness and the reward of recompense, and grant me the soundness of conviction in what I have asked.
وَإِنْ أَنْتَ عَمَّرْتَنِي إِلَى عَامٍ مِثْلِهِ وَيَوْمٍ مِثْلِهِ وَلَمْ تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّي، فَأَعِنِّي بِالتَّوْفِيقِ عَلَى بُلُوغِ رِضَاكَ
Wa in anta ‘ammartani ila ‘amin mithlihi wa yawmin mithlihi wa lam taj’alhu akhiral-‘ahdi minni, fa-a’inni bit-tawfiqi ‘ala bulughi ridak.
And if You grant me life until a similar year and a similar day, and do not make it my last covenant, then help me with success in attaining Your pleasure.
وَأَشْرِكْنِي يَا إِلَهِي فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فِي جَمِيعِ دُعَاءِ مَنْ أَجَبْتَهُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ
Wa ashrikni ya ilahi fi hadhal-yawmi fi jami’i du’a’i man ajabtahu minal-mu’minina wal-mu’minat.
And include me, O my God, on this day in all the supplications of those whom You have answered among the believing men and believing women.
وَأَشْرِكْهُمْ فِي دُعَائِي إِذَا أَجَبْتَنِي فِي مَقَامِي هَذَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
Wa ashrikhum fi du’a’i idha ajabtani fi maqami hadha bayna yadayk.
And include them in my supplication when You answer me in this standing of mine before You.
فَإِنِّي رَاغِبٌ إِلَيْكَ لِي وَلَهُمْ، وَعَائِذٌ بِكَ لِي وَلَهُمْ، فَاسْتَجِبْ لِي يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
Fa-inni raghibun ilayka li wa lahum, wa ‘a’idhun bika li wa lahum, fas-tajib li ya arhamar-rahimin.
For I am ardently beseeching You for myself and for them, and seeking refuge in You for myself and for them; so answer me, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
A.Seventh: It is recommended not to leave one’s house for joining the congregational `«d al-Fitr Prayer before sunrise. It is also recommended to say the supplicatory prayers that have been mentioned by Sayyid Ibn Tawus in Iqbal al-A`mal. Among these supplicatory prayers is the one that Abu-Hamzah al-Thumali has reported Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (`a) as saying: Whey you ready yourself for joining the congregational Friday Prayers and the eid Prayers, you may say the following supplicatory prayer:
اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ تَهَيّا فِي هٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ
allahumma man tahayya'a fi hadha alyawmi
O Allah, if one, on this day, prepares oneself,
اوْ تَعَبَّا اوْ اعَدَّ وَٱسْتَعَدَّ
aw ta`abba'a aw a`adda wa ista`adda
takes pains, gets ready, or prepares oneself
لِوِفَادَةٍ إِلَىٰ مَخْلُوقٍ
liwifadatin ila makhluqin
to visit another one,
رَجَاءَ رِفْدِهِ وَنَوَافِلِهِ
raja'a rifdihi wa nawafilihi
hoping for his aid, gifts,
وَفَوَاضِلِهِ وَعَطَايَاهُ
wa fawadilihi wa `atayahu
benefits, and grants;
فَإِنَّ إِلَيْكَ يَاسَيِّدِي تَهْيِئَتِي وَتَعْبِئَتِي
fa inna ilayka ya sayyidi tahyi'ati wa ta`bi'ati
for You alone, my Lord, is my readiness, preparations,
وَإِعْدَادِي وَٱسْتِعْدَادِي
wa i`dadi wa isti`dadi
taking pains, training, and inclination
رَجَاءَ رِفْدِكَ وَجَوَائِزِكَ
raja'a rifdika wa jawa'izika
in the hope of gaining Your aid, gifts,
وَنَوَافِلِكَ وَفَوَاضِلِكَ
wa nawafilika wa fawadilika
grants, benefits,
وَفَضَائِلِكَ وَعَطَايَاكَ
wa fada'ilika wa `atayaka
bounties, and donations.
وَقَدْ غَدَوْتُ إِلَىٰ عِيدٍ مِنْ اعْيَادِ امَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ
wa qad ghadawtu ila `idin min a`yadi ummati nabiyyika muhammadin
I find myself celebrating one of the feasts commemorated by the nation of Your Prophet, Muhammad,
صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ
salawatu allahi `alayhi wa `ala alihi
blessings of Allah be upon him and his Household.
وَلَمْ افِدْ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ بِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ اثِقُ بِهِ قَدَّمْتُهُ
wa lam afid ilayka alyawma bi`amalin salihin athiqu bihi qaddamtuhu
I have not come to You, today, carrying a righteous deeds that I may trust to present before You
وَلاَ تَوَجَّهْتُ بِمَخْلُوقٍ امَّلْتُهُ
wa la tawajjahtu bimakhluqin ammaltuhu
nor have I introduced a creature as my interceder before You;
وَلكِنْ اتَيْتُكَ خَاضِعاً
wa lakin ataytuka khadi`an
rather, I submissively draw near You
مُقِرّاً بِذُنُوبِي وَإِسَاءَتِي إِلَىٰ نَفْسِي
muqiran bidhunubi wa isa'ati ila nafsi
confessing of my wrongdoings and my offenses to myself.
فَيَا عَظِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ
faya `azimu ya `azimu ya `azimu
So, O All-great, O All-great, O All-great,
ٱغْفِرْ لِيَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي
ighfir liya al`azima min dhunubi
(please) forgive my grave wrongdoings,
فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ ٱلْعِظَامَ إِلاَّ انْتَ
fa innahu la yaghfiru aldhdhunuba al`izama illa anta
for, verily, no one can forgive serious transgressions save You.
يَا لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ
ya la ilaha alla anta
O He save Whom there is no god!
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ
ya arhama alrrahimina
O most Merciful of all the merciful!
The following is narrated through a chain of documents to Abi Abdullah As-Sadiq (as):
“When you stand up to pray, face the Qibla, exalt God and say the following,
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدَيْكَ هَارِبٌ مِنْكَ إِلَيْكَ أَتَيْتُكَ وَافِداً إِلَيْكَ مُتَأَوِّياً [مُنَاوِياً] مِنْ ذُنُوبِي إِلَيْكَ زَائِراً وَ حَقُّ الزَّائِرِ عَلَى الْمَزُورِ التُّحْفَةُ فَاجْعَلْ تُحْفَتِي مِنْكَ وَ تُحْفَتَكَ لِي رِضًا [رِضَاكَ] وَ الْجَنَّةَ
O‟ my God! I am Your worshipping servant. I am the son of Your worshipping servant. I am fleeing from You to You! I have come to You willingly, repentant of my sins coming to visit you.And the right of one who visits upon the one being visited is a gift. Then please set aside a gift for me. Let Your gift for me be Your Pleasure and Paradise.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَظَّمْتَ حُرْمَةَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنَ
O‟ my God! You indeed have honored the Sacredness of the month of Ramadhan and You revealed the Qur‟an during it.
أَيْ رَبِّ وَ جَعَلْتَ فِيهِ لَيْلَةً خَيْراً مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ثُمَّ مَنَنْتَ عَلَيَّ بِصِيَامِهِ وَ قِيَامِهِ فِيمَا مَنَنْتَ عَلَيَّ فَتَمِّمْ عَلَيَّ مِنْكَ وَ رَحْمَتَكَ
O‟ Lord! You established light in it that is better than a thousand months. Then You Favored me with fasting during it and staying up in what You Favored me with and You perfected Your Favor and Mercy to me.
أَيْ رَبِّ إِنَّ لَكَ فِيهِ عُتَقَاءَ فَإِنْ كُنْتُ مِمَّنْ أَعْتَقْتَنِي فِيهِ فَتَمِّمْ عَلَيَّ وَ لَا تَرُدَّنِي فِي ذَنْبٍ مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي وَ إِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ فَعَلْتَ
O‟ Lord! You have freed ones during it, so please let me be one of those freed during it. So perfect it for me and do not let me return to sins for as long as I live.
يَا رَبِّ لِضَعْفِ عَمَلٍ أَوْ لِعِظَمِ ذَنْبٍ فَبِكَرَمِكَ وَ فَضْلِكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ [وَ رَحَمَاتِكَ] وَ كِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ وَ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهَا وَ حُرْمَةَ مَنْ عَظَّمْتَ فِيهَا
O‟ Lord! However, if You do not do so it is due to my weak deeds, or great sins. So I ask You by Your Benevolence, Nobility, Mercy and Your Book which You sent down on the Night of Destiny in the month of Ramadhan, and what You revealed in it, and You exalted its sanctity.
وَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلِيٍّ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ وَ صَلَوَاتُكَ وَ بِكَ يَا اللَّهُ أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ بِمَنْ بَعْدَهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَتَوَجَّهُ بِكُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ يَا اللَّهُ أَعْتِقْنِي فِيمَنْ أَعْتَقْتَ السَّاعَةَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ.
And by Muhammad (as) and Ali (as) and by You O‟ God! I turn to You by Muhammad (as) and by those who came after him (as). Please bestow Blessings on them. I turn to God by them. O‟ God! Please let me be amongst the freed ones now for the sake of Muhammad (as).”
The Eid Prayer (Salat al-Eid) consists of two Rak`ahs.
In the first Rak`ah, recite Surah of al-Fatihah and Surah Al A'ala ( or any other) After the recitation of these Surahs, say the takbir 'Allahu-akbar' - four times and raise the hands for the Qunut after each takbeer, saying as below ( or any other qunoot): then say the takbeer for fifth time after 4th qunoot and again for the sixth time before ruku , then do the ruku and sujud.
In the second Rak`ah, recite Surah of al-Fatihah and Surah 91 As Shams ( or any other)and then say the takbeer three times raising the hands for the Qunut after each takbeer After that, say the fourth takbeer after 3rd Qunoot & fifth takbeer before ruku and continue to complete the prayer. (Ayatullah Sistani)
Qunoot in Eid prayer (4 times in first rakat & 3 times in 2nd Rakat)
اللّهُمّ أَهْلَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ،
allahumma ahla alkibriya‘i wal-`azamati
O Allah: You are the Lord of glory and greatness
وَأَهْلَ الْجُودِ وَالْجَبَرُوتِ،
wa ahla aljudi wal-jabaruti
And the Lord of magnanimity and omnipotence
وَأَهْلَ الْعَفْوِ وَالرّحْمَةِ،
wa ahla al-`afwi wal-rrahmati
And the Lord of pardon and mercy,
وَأَهْلَ التّقْوَى وَالْمَغْفِرَةِ،
wa ahla alttaqwa wal-maghfirati
And the worthiest of being feared and the Lord of forgiveness;
أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقّ هذَا الْيَوْمِ الّذِي جَعَلْتَهُ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ عِيداً،
as’aluka bihaqqi hadha aliyawmi alladhy ja`altahu lilmuslimena `edan
I beseech You in the name of this day, which You have decided to be feast for the Muslims,
وَلِمُحَمّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه ذُخْراً وَمَزِيداً
wa limuhammadin salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi dhukhran wa mazedan
And to be safety and increasing honor for Muhammad—peace of Allah be upon him and his Household—
أَنْ تُصَلّيَ عَلَى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّدٍ
an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
(I beseech You) that You may send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَأَنْ تُدْخِلَنِي فِي كُلّ خَيْرٍ أَدْخَلْتَ فِيهِ مُحَمّداً وَآلَ مُحَمّدٍ،
wa an tudkhilany fe kulli khayrin adkhalta fehi muhammadan wa ala muhammadin
And You may include me with every item of goodness with which You have included Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَأَنْ تُخْرِجَنِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ أَخْرَجْتَ مِنْهُ مُحَمّداً وَآلَ مُحَمّدٍ
wa an tukhrijany min kulli su‘in akhrajta minhu muhammadan wa ala muhammadin
And that You save me from any item of evil from which You have saved Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ.
salawatuka `alayhi wa `alayhim
May Your blessings be upon him and upon them.
اللّهُمّ إِنّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادُكَ الصَّالِحُونَ،
allahumma inne as’aluka khayra ma sa’alaka `ibaduka alssalihuna
O Allah: I pray You for the best of all that for which Your righteous servants have prayed You,
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِمَّا اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ عِبَادُكَ المُخْلِصُون.
wa a`udhu bika mimma ista`adha minhu `ibaduka mukhlisoon
And I seek Your protection against all that against which Your sincere servants have asked Your protection.
After completion of the prayer, say the famous Tasbeh al-Zahra' (a.s).
It is recommended to offer the Eid Prayer outdoors, directly on the ground without putting a carpet or any other thing under the feet, to return from a way other than the one taken in the coming, to pray Almighty Allah for accepting the acts of ones brethren-in-faith

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي صِيَامَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ أَنْ تُحْسِنَ مَعُونَتِي عَلَيْهِ وَ أَنْ تُبْلِغَنِي اسْتِتْمَامَهُ وَ فِطْرَهُ أَعْطَيْتَنِي مِنْهُ
وَ أَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلَيَّ فِي ذَلِكَ بِعِبَادَتِكَ وَ حُسْنِ مَعُونَتِكَ وَ تَسْهِيلِ [وَ أَسْهَلِ] أَسْبَابِ تَوْفِيقِكَ فَأَجَبْتَنِي وَ أَحْسَنْتَ مَعُونَتِي عَلَيْهِ وَ فَعَلْتَ ذَلِكَ بِي وَ عَرَّفْتَنِي حُسْنَ صَنِيعِكَ وَ كَرِيمَ إِجَابَتِكَ
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى مَا رَزَقْتَنِي مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَ عَلَى مَا
اللَّهُمَّ وَ هَذَا يَوْمٌ عَظَّمْتَ قَدْرَهُ وَ كَرَّمْتَ حَالَهُ وَ شَرَّفْتَ حُرْمَتَهُ وَ جَعَلْتَهُ عِيداً لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
وَ أَمَرْتَ عِبَادَكَ أَنْ يَبْرُزُوا لَكَ فِيهِ لِتُوَفِّيَ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ وَ ثَوَابَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَ لِتُفَضِّلَ عَلَى أَهْلِ النَّقْصِ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ وَ التَّقْصِيرِ فِي الِاجْتِهَادِ فِي أَدَاءِ الْفَرِيضَةِ مِمَّا لَا يَمْلِكُهُ [يَمْلِكُهُ] غَيْرُكَ وَ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ سِوَاكَ
اللَّهُمَّ وَ قَدْ وَافَاكَ فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فِي هَذَا الْمَقَامِ مَنْ عَمِلَ لَكَ عَمَلًا قَلَّ ذَلِكَ الْعَمَلُ أَوْ كَثُرَ كُلُّهُمْ يَطْلُبُ أَجْرَ مَا عَمِلَ
وَ يَسْأَلُ الزِّيَادَةَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ فِي ثَوَابِ صَوْمِهِ لَكَ وَ عِبَادَتِهِ إِيَّاكَ عَلَى حَسَبِ مَا قُلْتَ يَسْئَلُهُ مَنْ فِي السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ
اللَّهُمَّ وَ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ الْعَارِفُ بِمَا أَلْزَمْتَنِي وَ الْمُقِرُّ بِمَا أَمَرْتَنِي الْمُعْتَرِفُ بِنَقْصِ عَمَلِي وَ التَّقْصِيرِ فِي اجْتِهَادِي
وَ الْمُخِلُّ بِفَرْضِكَ عَلَيَّ وَ التَّارِكُ لِمَا ضَمِنْتُ لَكَ عَلَى نَفْسِي
اللَّهُمَّ وَ قَدْ ضَمِنْتُ [صُمْتُ] فَشُبْتُ صَوْمِي لَكَ فِي أَحْوَالِ الْخَطَاءِ
وَ الْعَمْدِ وَ النِّسْيَانِ وَ الذِّكْرِ وَ الْحِفْظِ بِأَشْيَاءَ نَطَقَ بِهَا لِسَانِي أَوْ رَأَتْهَا عَيْنِي وَ هَوَتْهَا نَفْسِي أَوْ مَالَ إِلَيْهَا هَوَايَ وَ أَحَبَّهَا قَلْبِي أَوِ اشْتَهَتْهَا رُوحِي أَوْ بَسَطَتْ إِلَيْهَا يَدَيِ أَوْ سَعَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا بِرِجْلِي
مِنْ حَلَالِكَ الْمُبَاحِ بِأَمْرِكَ إِلَى حَرَامِكَ الْمَحْظُورِ بِنَهْيِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ وَ كُلُّ مَا كَانَ مِنِّي مُحْصًى عَلَيَّ غَيْرُ مُخِلٍّ بِقَلِيلٍ وَ لَا كَثِيرٍ وَ لَا صَغِيرٍ وَ لَا كَبِيرٍ
اللَّهُمَّ وَ قَدْ بَرَزْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَ خَلَوْتُ بِكَ لِأَعْتَرِفَ لَكَ بِنَقْصِ عَمَلِي وَ تَقْصِيرِي فِيمَا يَلْزَمُنِي
وَ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَوْدَ عَلَيَّ بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ وَ الْعَائِدَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ عَلَيَّ بِأَحْسَنِ رَجَائِي وَ أَفْضَلِ [مَا] أَمَلِي وَ أَكْمَلِ طَمَعِي فِي رِضْوَانِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اغْفِرْ لِي كُلَّ نَقْصٍ وَ كُلَّ تَقْصِيرٍ وَ كُلَّ إِسَاءَةٍ وَ كُلَّ تَفْرِيطٍ وَ كُلَّ جَهْلٍ وَ كُلَّ عَمْدٍ وَ كُلَّ خَطَاءٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ فِي شَهْرِي هَذَا وَ فِي صَوْمِي لَهُ وَ فِي فَرْضِكَ عَلَيَّ وَ هَبْهُ لِي
وَ تَصَدَّقْ بِهِ عَلَيَّ وَ تَجَاوَزْ لِي عَنْهُ يَا غَايَةَ كُلِّ رَغْبَةٍ وَ يَا مُنْتَهَى كُلِّ مَسْأَلَةٍ وَ اقْلِبْنِي مِنْ وَجْهِي هَذَا وَ قَدْ عَظَّمْتَ فِيهِ جَائِزَتِي
وَ أَجْزَلْتَ فِيهِ عَطِيَّتِي وَ كَرَّمْتَ فِيهِ حَبَائِي وَ تَفَضَّلْتَ عَلَيَّ بِأَفْضَلَ مِنْ رَغْبَتِي وَ أَعْظَمَ مِنْ مَسْأَلَتِي
يَا إِلَهِي يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِكَ شَيْءٌ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
وَ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِيَ الْعَمْدَ مِنْهَا وَ الْخَطَاءَ فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ
يَا رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ وَلِيَّهُ افْعَلْ ذَلِكَ بِي وَ تُبْ بِمَنِّكَ وَ فَضْلِكَ وَ رَأْفَتِكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ تَوْبَةً نَصُوحاً لَا أَشْقَى بَعْدَهَا أَبَداً
يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ لَكَ الْأَمْثَالُ الْعُلْيَا وَ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّكِّ بَعْدَ الْيَقِينِ وَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ الْإِيمَانِ يَا إِلَهِي اغْفِرْ لِي يَا إِلَهِي تَفَضَّلْ عَلَيَّ يَا إِلَهِي تُبْ عَلَيَّ يَا إِلَهِي ارْحَمْنِي يَا إِلَهِي ارْحَمْ فَقْرِي يَا إِلَهِي ارْحَمْ ذُلِّي يَا إِلَهِي ارْحَمْ مَسْكَنَتِي يَا إِلَهِي ارْحَمْ عَبْرَتِي يَا إِلَهِي لَا تُخَيِّبْنِي وَ أَنَا أَدْعُوكَ وَ لَا تُعَذِّبْنِي وَ أَنَا أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ [أَرْجُوكَ]
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ لِنَبِيِّكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ السَّلَامُ وَ ما كانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَ أَنْتَ فِيهِمْ وَ ما كانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ يَا رَبِّ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ ذُنُوبِي كُلِّهَا مَا تَعَمَّدْتُ مِنْهَا وَ مَا أَخْطَأْتُ وَ مَا حَفِظْتُ وَ مَا نَسِيتُ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ لِنَبِيِّكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَ السَّلَامُ وَ إِذا سَأَلَكَ عِبادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذا دَعانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَ لْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَدْعُوكَ كَمَا أَمَرْتَنِي فَاسْتَجِبْ لِي كَمَا وَعَدْتَنِي إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَوْصِيَاءِ الْمَرْضِيِّينَ بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَ بَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ بِأَفْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ وَ أَدْخِلْنِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ أَدْخَلْتَهُمْ فِيهِ وَ أَخْرِجْنِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ أَخْرَجْتَهُمْ مِنْهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَعْتِقْ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ عِتْقاً بَتْلًا لَا رِقَّ بَعْدَهُ أَبَداً وَ لَا حَرْقَ بِالنَّارِ وَ لَا ذُلَّ وَ لَا وَحْشَةَ وَ لَا رُعْبَ وَ لَا لَوْعَةَ [رَوْعَةَ] وَ لَا فَزَعَةَ [فَزْعَةَ] وَ لَا رَهْبَةَ بِالنَّارِ وَ مُنَّ عَلَيَّ بِالْجَنَّةِ بِأَفْضَلِ حُظُوظِ أَهْلِهَا وَ أَشْرَفِ كَرَامَاتِهِمْ وَ أَجْزَلِ عَطَايَاكَ لَهُمْ وَ أَفْضَلِ جَوَائِزِكَ إِيَّاهُمْ وَ خَيْرِ حِبَائِكَ لَهُمْ
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَقْلِبْنِي مِنْ مَجْلِسِي هَذَا وَ مِنْ مَخْرَجِي هَذَا
وَ لَا تُبْقِ لِي فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَكَ وَ لَا فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ ذَنْباً إِلَّا غَفَرْتَهُ وَ لَا خَطِيئَةً إِلَّا مَحَوْتَهَا وَ لَا عَثْرَةً إِلَّا أَقَلْتَهَا
وَ لَا فَاضِحَةً إِلَّا صَفَحْتَ عَنْهَا وَ لَا جَرِيرَةً إِلَّا خَلَّصْتَ مِنْهَا وَ لَا سَيِّئَةً إِلَّا وَهَبْتَهَا لِي وَ لَا كُرْبَةً إِلَّا وَ قَدْ خَلَّصْتَنِي مِنْهَا وَ لَا دَيْناً إِلَّا قَضَيْتَهُ وَ لَا عَائِلَةً إِلَّا أَغْنَيْتَهَا وَ لَا فَاقَةً إِلَّا سَدَدْتَهَا وَ لَا عُرْيَاناً [عريا] إِلَّا كَسَوْتَهُ
وَ لَا مَرِيضاً إِلَّا شَفَيْتَهُ وَ لَا سَقِيماً إِلَّا دَاوَيْتَهُ وَ لَا هَمّاً إِلَّا فَرَّجْتَهُ
وَ لَا غَمّاً إِلَّا أَذْهَبْتَهُ وَ لَا خَوْفاً إِلَّا أَمِنْتَهُ [آمَنْتَهُ] وَ لَا عُسْراً إِلَّا يَسَّرْتَهُ
وَ لَا ضَعْفاً إِلَّا قَوَّيْتَهُ وَ لَا حَاجَةً مِنْ حَوَائِجِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَضَيْتَهَا
عَلَى أَفْضَلِ الْأَمَلِ وَ أَحْسَنِ الرَّجَاءِ وَ أَكْمَلِ الطَّمَعِ إِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَمَرْتَنِي بِالدُّعَاءِ وَ دَلَلْتَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَسَأَلْتُكَ وَ وَعَدْتَنِي الْإِجَابَةَ فَتَنَجَّزْتَ بِوَعْدِكَ وَ أَنْتَ الصَّادِقُ الْقَوْلِ الْوَفِيُّ الْعَهْدِ
اللَّهُمَّ وَ قَدْ قُلْتَ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ وَ قُلْتَ وَ سْئَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ كانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيماً وَ قُلْتَ وَعْدَ الصِّدْقِ الَّذِي كانُوا يُوعَدُونَ
اللَّهُمَّ وَ أَنَا أَدْعُوكَ كَمَا أَمَرْتَنِي مُتَنَجِّزاً لِوَعْدِكَ [فَاسْتَجِبْ لِي]
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَعْطِنِي كُلَّ مَا وَعَدْتَنِي وَ كُلَّ أُمْنِيَّتِي وَ كُلَّ سُؤْلِي وَ كُلَّ هَمِّي وَ كُلَّ تُهْمَتِي وَ كُلَّ هَوَايَ [هَوَاءٍ] وَ كُلَّ مَحَبَّتِي وَ اجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ كُلَّهُ سَائِحاً فِي جَلَالِكَ ثَابِتاً فِي طَاعَتِكَ مُتَرَدِّداً فِي مَرْضَاتِكَ مُتَصَرِّفاً فِيمَا دَعَوْتَ إِلَيْهِ غَيْرَ مَصْرُوفٍ مِنْهُ قَلِيلًا وَ لَا كَثِيراً فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ مَعَاصِيكَ وَ لَا فِي مُخَالَفَةٍ لِأَمْرِكَ [مُخَالَفَةٍ أَمْرَكَ] إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا وَفَّقْتَنِي لِدُعَائِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ وَفِّقْ لِي إِجَابَتَكَ إِنَّكَ [أَنْتَ] عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ تَهَيَّأَ أَوْ تَعَبَّأَ أَوْ أَعَدَّ أَوِ اسْتَعَدَّ لِوِفَادَةٍ إِلَى مَخْلُوقٍ رَجَاءَ رِفْدِهِ وَ جَوَائِزِهِ وَ نَوَافِلِهِ وَ فَضَائِلِهِ وَ عَطَايَاهُ فَإِلَيْكَ يَا سَيِّدِي كَانَتْ تَهْيِئَتِي وَ تَعْبِئَتِي وَ إِعْدَادِي وَ اسْتِعْدَادِي رَجَاءَ رِفْدِكَ وَ جَوَائِزِكَ وَ فَوَاضِلِكَ وَ نَوَافِلِكَ
وَ عَطَايَاكَ وَ قَدْ غَدَوْتُ إِلَى عِيدٍ مِنْ أَعْيَادِ أُمَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ [صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ]
وَ لَمْ آتِكَ الْيَوْمَ بِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ أَثِقُ بِهِ قَدَّمْتُهُ وَ لَا تَوَجَّهْتُ بِمَخْلُوقٍ رَجَوْتُهُ
وَ لَكِنِّي أَتَيْتُكَ خَاضِعاً مُقِرّاً بِذُنُوبِي وَ إِسَاءَتِي إِلَى نَفْسِي وَ لَا حُجَّةَ لِي وَ لَا عُذْرَ لِي
أَتَيْتُكَ أَرْجُو أَعْظَمَ [عَظِيمَ] عَفْوِكَ الَّذِي عَفَوْتَ بِهِ عَنِ الْخَاطِئِينَ وَ أَنْتَ الَّذِي غَفَرْتَ لَهُمْ عَظِيمَ جُرْمِهِمْ
وَ لَمْ يَمْنَعْكَ طُولُ عُكُوفِهِمْ عَلَى عَظِيمِ جُرْمِهِمْ [الْجُرْمِ] أَنْ عُدْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِالرَّحْمَةِ
فَيَا مَنْ رَحْمَتُهُ وَاسِعَةٌ وَ فَضْلُهُ [عَفْوُهُ] عَظِيمٌ يَا عَظِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عُدْ عَلَيَّ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِعَفْوِكَ وَ عَافِيَتِكَ
وَ تَعَطَّفْ عَلَيَّ بِفَضْلِكَ وَ أَوْسِعْ [تَوَسَّعْ] عَلَيَّ رِزْقَكَ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ يَرُدُّ غَضَبَكَ إِلَّا حِلْمُكَ وَ لَا يَرُدُّ سَخَطَكَ إِلَّا عَفْوُكَ وَ لَا يُجِيرُ مِنْ عِقَابِكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَتُكَ وَ لَا يُنْجِينِي مِنْكَ إِلَّا التَّضَرُّعُ إِلَيْكَ
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ هَبْ لِي يَا إِلَهِي فَرَجاً بِالْقُدْرَةِ الَّتِي بِهَا تُحْيِي أَمْوَاتَ الْعِبَادِ
وَ بِهَا تَنْشُرُ مَيْتَ الْبِلَادِ وَ لَا تُهْلِكْنِي يَا إِلَهِي غَمّاً حَتَّى تَسْتَجِيبَ لِي وَ تُعَرِّفَنِيَ الْإِجَابَةَ فِي دُعَائِي
وَ أَذِقْنِي طَعْمَ الْعَافِيَةِ إِلَى مُنْتَهَى أَجَلِي وَ لَا تُشْمِتْ بِي عَدُوِّي وَ لَا تُسَلِّطْهُ عَلَيَّ وَ لَا تُمَكِّنْهُ مِنْ عُنُقِي
يَا رَبِّ إِنْ رَفَعْتَنِي فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَضَعُنِي وَ إِنْ وَضَعْتَنِي فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَرْفَعُنِي وَ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَرْحَمُنِي
إِنْ عَذَّبْتَنِي وَ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُعَذِّبُنِي إِنْ رَحِمْتَنِي وَ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُكْرِمُنِي إِنْ أَهَنْتَنِي
وَ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُهِينُنِي إِنْ أَكْرَمْتَنِي وَ إِنْ أَهْلَكْتَنِي فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَعْرِضُ لَكَ فِي عَبْدِكَ
أَوْ يَسْأَلُكَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ وَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ يَا إِلَهِي أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِي حُكْمِكَ جَوْرٌ وَ لَا ظُلْمٌ وَ لَا فِي عُقُوبَتِكَ عَجَلَةٌ وَ إِنَّمَا يَعْجَلُ مَنْ يَخَافُ الْفَوْتَ
وَ إِنَّمَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى الظُّلْمِ الضَّعِيفُ وَ قَدْ تَعَالَيْتَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ سَيِّدِي عُلُوّاً كَبِيراً
اللَّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ لَا تَجْعَلْنِي لِلْبَلَاءِ غَرَضاً وَ لَا لِنَقِمَتِكَ نَصَباً وَ مَهِّلْنِي وَ نَفِّسْنِي وَ أَقِلْنِي [أَقِلْ] عَثْرَتِي وَ ارْحَمْ تَضَرُّعِي وَ لَا تُتْبِعْنِي بِبَلَاءٍ عَلَى أَثَرِ بَلَاءٍ فَقَدْ تَرَى ضَعْفِي وَ قِلَّةَ حِيلَتِي وَ تَضَرُّعِي إِلَيْكَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ
اللَّهُمَّ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ غَضَبِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَعِذْنِي وَ أَسْتَجِيرُ بِكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَجِرْنِي وَ أَسْتَرْحِمُكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ أَسْتَهْدِيكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اهْدِنِي وَ أَسْتَنْصِرُكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ انْصُرْنِي وَ أَسْتَكْفِيكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اكْفِنِي وَ أَسْتَرْزِقُكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ارْزُقْنِي [وَ أَغْنِنِي] وَ أَسْتَعْصِمُكَ فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمُرِي [عُمُرِي] فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اعْصِمْنِي وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا سَلَفَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنِّي لَنْ أَعُودَ لِشَيْءٍ كَرِهْتَهُ إِنْ شِئْتَ ذَلِكَ
يَا رَبِّ يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اسْتَجِبْ لِي جَمِيعَ مَا سَأَلْتُكَ وَ طَلَبْتُهُ مِنْكَ وَ رَغِبْتُ فِيهِ إِلَيْكَ وَ أَرِدْهُ وَ قَدِّرْهُ وَ اقْضِهِ وَ أَمْضِهِ وَ خِرْ لِي فِيمَا تَقْضِي مِنْهُ وَ تَفَضَّلْ عَلَيَّ بِهِ وَ أَسْعِدْنِي بِمَا تُعْطِينِي مِنْهُ وَ زِدْنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَ سَعَةِ مَا عِنْدَكَ فَإِنَّكَ وَاسِعٌ كَرِيمٌ وَ صِلْ ذَلِكَ كُلَّهُ بِخَيْرِ الْآخِرَةِ وَ نَعِيمِهَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ افْتَحْ لَهُمْ فَتْحاً يَسِيراً وَ اجْعَلْ لَهُمْ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطاناً نَصِيراً
اللَّهُمَّ أَظْهِرْ بِهِمْ دِينَكَ وَ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ السَّلَامُ حَتَّى لَا يَسْتَخْفِيَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْحَقِّ مَخَافَةَ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْخَلْقِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَرْغَبُ إِلَيْكَ فِي دَوْلَةٍ كَرِيمَةٍ تُعِزُّ بِهَا الْإِسْلَامَ وَ أَهْلَهُ وَ تُذِلُّ بِهَا النِّفَاقَ وَ أَهْلَهُ وَ تَجْعَلُنَا فِيهَا مِنَ الدُّعَاةِ إِلَى طَاعَتِكَ وَ الْقَادَةِ إِلَى سَبِيلِكَ وَ تَرْزُقُنَا بِهَا كَرَامَةَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَنْكَرْنَا مِنَ الْحَقِّ فَعَرِّفْنَاهُ وَ مَا قَصُرْنَا عَنْهُ فَبَلِّغْنَاهُ
اللَّهُمَّ وَ اسْتَجِبْ لَنَا وَ اجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ يَتَذَكَّرُ فَتَنْفَعَهُ الذِّكْرى
اللَّهُمَّ وَ قَدْ غَدَوْتُ إِلَى عِيدٍ مِنْ أَعْيَادِ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ لَمْ أَثِقْ بِغَيْرِكَ وَ لَمْ آتِكَ بِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ أَثِقُ بِهِ وَ لَا تَوَجَّهْتُ بِمَخْلُوقٍ رَجَوْتُهُ
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي عِيدِنَا هَذَا كَمَا هَدَيْتَنَا لَهُ وَ رَزَقْتَنَا وَ أَعِنَّا عَلَيْهِ
اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا مَا أَدَّيْتَ عَنَّا فِيهِ مِنْ حَقٍّ وَ مَا قَضَيْتَ عَنَّا فِيهِ مِنْ فَرِيضَةٍ وَ مَا اتَّبَعْنَا فِيهِ مِنْ سُنَّةٍ وَ مَا تَنَفَّلْنَا فِيهِ مِنْ نَافِلَةٍ وَ مَا أَذِنْتَ لَنَا فِيهِ مِنْ تَطَوُّعٍ وَ مَا تَقَرَّبْنَا إِلَيْكَ مِنْ نُسُكٍ وَ مَا اسْتَعْمَلْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الطَّاعَةِ وَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْعَافِيَةِ وَ الْعِبَادَةِ
اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ذَلِكَ كُلَّهُ زَاكِياً وَافِياً يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَ لا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنا
وَ لَا تُذِلَّنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ أَعْزَزْتَنَا وَ لَا تُضِلَّنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ وَفَّقْتَنَا
وَ لَا تُهِنَّا بَعْدَ إِذْ أَكْرَمْتَنَا وَ لَا تُفْقِرْنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ أَغْنَيْتَنَا

َ لَا تَمْنَعْنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ أَعْطَيْتَنَا وَ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ رَزَقْتَنَا
وَ لَا تُغَيِّرْ شَيْئاً مِنْ نِعَمِكَ عَلَيْنَا وَ لَا إِحْسَانِكَ إِلَيْنَا لِشَيْءٍ كَانَ مِنَّا وَ لَا لِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ فَإِنَّ فِي كَرَمِكَ وَ عَفْوِكَ وَ فَضْلِكَ سَعَةً لِمَغْفِرَةِ ذُنُوبِنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ
فَأَعْتِقْ رِقَابَنَا مِنَ النَّارِ بِلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ يَا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ
إِنْ كُنْتَ رَضِيتَ عَنِّي فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ أَنْ تَزْدَادَ عَنِّي رِضًى لَا سَخَطَ بَعْدَهُ أَبَداً
عَلَيَّ وَ إِنْ كُنْتَ لَمْ تَرْضَ عَنِّي وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَمِنَ الْآنَ فَارْضَ عَنِّي رِضًا لَا سَخَطَ بَعْدَهُ عَلَيَّ أَبَداً
وَ ارْحَمْنِي رَحْمَةً لَا تُعَذِّبُنِي بَعْدَهَا أَبَداً
وَ أَسْعِدْنِي سَعَادَةً لَا أَشْقَى بَعْدَهَا أَبَداً وَ أَغْنِنِي غِنًى لَا فَقْرَ بَعْدَهُ أَبَداً
وَ اجْعَلْ أَفْضَلَ جَائِزَتِكَ لِيَ الْيَوْمَ فَكَاكَ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ وَ أَعْطِنِي مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ مَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ
وَ إِنْ كُنْتَ بَلَّغْتَنَا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ وَ إِلَّا فَأَخِّرْ آجَالَنَا إِلَى قَابِلٍ حَتَّى تُبَلِّغَنَاهُ فِي يُسْرٍ مِنْكَ وَ عَافِيَةٍ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنَّا بِشَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ أَعْطِ جَمِيعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ مَا سَأَلْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
ما شاءَ اللَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
وَ حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى خِيَرَتِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلِّمْ تَسْلِيماً
للَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَرَى وَ لَا تُرَى وَ أَنْتَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْأَعْلَى فالِقُ الْحَبِّ وَ النَّوى تَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَ أَخْفَى فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي أَعْلَى عِلِّيِّينَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ وَ النُّورِ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي الظِّلِّ وَ الْحَرُورِ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْغُدُوِّ وَ الْآصَالِ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْأَزْمَانِ وَ الْأَحْوَالِ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فِي قَعْرِ أَرْضِكَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ إِلَهِي صَلَّيْنَا خَمْساً وَ حَصَّنَّا فُرُوجَنَا وَ صُمْنَا شَهْرَنَا وَ أَطَعْنَاكَ رَبَّنَا وَ أَدَّيْنَا زَكَاةَ نُفُوسِنَا [رُءُوسِنَا] طَيِّبَةً بِهَا نُفُوسُنَا وَ خَرَجْنَا إِلَيْكَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا لِأَجْلِ جَرَائِرِنَا
فَصَلِّ [فَصَلِّ اللَّهُمَ] عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ لَا تُخَيِّبْنَا وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيْنَا بِالتَّوْبَةِ وَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ وَ لَا تَرُدَّنَا عَلَى عَقِبِنَا وَ لا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنا وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنَّا وَ ارْزُقْنَا صِيَامَهُ وَ قِيَامَهُ أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنَا وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيْنَا بِالْجَنَّةِ وَ نَجِّنَا مِنَ النَّارِ وَ زَوِّجْنَا مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعَيْنِ آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ إِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى خِيَرَتِهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً.
