Ghusl - Bath
Perform a Ghusl / prescribed bath on the 1st night / eve of the holy month of Ramadan
Recite Holy Quran
It is highly advisable to recite the Holy Qur'an very frequently at the first hours of the Month of Ramadhan.
Ziyarat of Imam Husain (as)
It is highly recommended to visit the holy tomb of Imam al-Husayn (peace be upon him) so that the sins will be forgiven and the like of the reward of those who undertake the Hajj and the `Umrah in that year will be recorded for him.
Four Rakah
Offer a Four Rak`ah prayer reciting in each Rak`ah Surah of al-Fatihah and Surah Tawheed 15 times
Two Rakah
Offer a two Rak`ah prayer reciting in each Rak`ah Surah of al-Fatihah and Surah of al-An`am (No. 6) and pray to Almighty Allah for security against ailments
