Salaat to be offered on 3rd of Safar

Sayyid Ibn Tawus writes down on the authority of the books of some Imamiyyah scholars that it is recommended, on the third of Safar, to offer

two rakaat (unit) prayer in the first rakaat Surah al-Fatihah and Surah al-Fath (No. 48) should be recited

and in the second, Surah al-Fatihah and Surah al-Tawhid should be recited.

After completion, Recite 100 times each :

i)Salwaat - Invocation of blessings upon the Holy Prophet and his Household

ii)Invocation of curse upon the Umayyad,in the following form:

iii) Imploration for forgiveness.

After all that, one may pray for granting his needs.
